WEAR EVER PURE LIVING NON-STICK CERAMIC COATING COOK SET
In 1955, I was working at Woolworth's after school and weekends. A Wear Ever Salesman came around to the house selling WEAR EVER POT Sets My mother paid $50.00 for the set of pots. I paid her back. The SET included two large Dutch Oven pots or Stewing Pots, One of the pots had a rim around the top of the pot, the other smaller pot did not have the rim. A rack which was round and had holes in it sat on top of the larger pot. One could place Vegetables on the rack and the stem from the meat would cook the vegetables. There was a ring that you sat on the larger pot or put on the smaller pot to place the lid on the smaller pot. A 2 Quart Sauce pan; 1 quart sauce pan and a 2 cup sauce pan. The set came with a "gold coloured Lid and Aluminum Lids to fit the saucepans. Another part of the set was a piece that had holes in it and you put that on top of the large pot. You could either set the other large pot on it, or place vegetables on it and more of less steam the vegetables as the meat was cooking. The set had a three Quart pot, a Two Quart sauce pot, and a small Two cup pot. My mother had a set of the Wear Ever pots and since I was planning to get married, she insisted on my buying this set. It was not until 1960 that I got married. The Dutch Oven, stewing pot and sauce pots had became discolored an if you washed them in the dish washer they turned dark gray. I had to throw one of the stew pots away because I burned something in it and it was too bad to clean.I still have the tiny Quart pot and it is in good condition. I threw out my old pots except for the 1 quart pot and the wire and rack I put Vegetables, etc..When we saw the GOLD WEAR EVER PURE LIVING NONSTICK CERAMIC COATING SET/GOLD on Sale it was too good to pass up. If you are going to fry or braise meat, you should spray cooking oil or Olive oil into the pot. You can rub a little oil inside the pan/pot and it will not stick. A family member fried a hamburger and did not rub the pan with oil and it stuck, a bit. I had read that in any non-stick pan if you are frying or browning meat, etc. the small bit of oil helps it from sticking. DO NOT SPRAY ANY NON-STICK SURFACE WITH COOKING SPRAY, ESPECIALLY THE TYPE CAN CONTAINS ALCOHOL. The Alcohol causes a build up on the non-stick surface and makes it sticky.spray that does not have Alcohol in it. However, I still prefer to add just a little cooking oil before I FRY or BROWN any meats in the pots.THE WEAR EVER PURE LIVING NONSTICK CERAMIC COATING COOKING SET is a DREAM to cook in and to CLEAN.I am happy to cook anything I chose and it comes out as perfect as it can with me cooking it. HA! I recommend this Cook Wear. After 52 years of marriage and using Wear Ever Cook wear and cooking on Wear Ever from the time I was old enough to cook, I have no complains with Wear Ever products.

If you can't read directions, don't buy stuff.
Before I bought this set on Amazon, I read through ALL of the reviews so I could get a gauge on whether this was a good product. For anyone else wanting to buy these, I recommend you reading the negative reviews. The people who left those did not do one thing. They did not read the instructions. I don't own non-stick pans, I own cast iron pans exclusively. I know about seasoning a pan.#1. These pans are GREAT.....if you season them. When you season the pan, do it on a med-low temperature. DO NOT PUT THE OIL IN THE PAN UNTIL IT IS HOT. When it is hot take a paper towel and generously apply the oil to all inside areas of the pan. Leave it for 5 minutes. That's it, period.#2. When you wash these pans do it by hand, use as little soap as possible, and DOT NOT USE AN ABRASIVE BRUSH OR SPONGE. If you seasoned your pans you should be able to clean them with hot water and no soap and everything will just rinse off. I personally cooked burger patties in this, left the burned areas and fat in the pan for 24 hours, turned on the hot water and didn't even have to use a brush.#3. If you want the pans to last longer: Don't use soap (it washes off the patina, i.e. seasoning) If you absolutely cannot live without using soap, then season your pans before you use them once a week.#4. Do not use metal flat ware or cooking utensils and do not stack these pans. They will scratch.#5. The high heat setting just isn't necessary for these.#6. Hot pan, Cold oil. If you have never heard this rule before, it can change the way you cook. Never put oil in a pan until it is hot. ANY pan on earth will be ruined by putting oil in the pan at the same time, or before you turn on the heat. Allowing the oil to heat up with the pan is just a cooking no no.If you take the time to keep proper care of these, they will be the best pans you have ever owned and you won't need to use excess oil or any oil at all. All of the above rules apply to cast iron pans so it's not rocket science.
