Q: How flexible is this material?

Put flat on carpet then put dresser on top. So no need to be flexible. It is quite thin so I suppose it can be flexible

I used it under my chest freezer to protect my new carpet and it’s great. But you still have to elevate the fridge few inches from the carpet to prevent the condensation and mould forming. I made a base with wheels and placed the freezer on it then placed this mat under and it’s been over a year with not even a single drop of condensation on the bottom of the freezer. When I removed my old carpet, I found wet mouldy area under the freezer because it was sitting directly on the carpet with no base. It even caused some smell in the room. Now problem solved.

The carpet protctor is a standard 27" width (2ft 3in) You can have any length you want. It could run along the hall or across your entrance. However, if it an external door, does your door have clearance at its base to pass over the additional thickness of the pprotector
