Q: What is the difference between this dandelion leaf root and the roasted dandelion root? i need the one with the most help for the liver.

Don't waste your time with roasted, it's only for taste. As far as your liver goes, the more intact nutrients you can give it the better. Heat destroys nutrients.

Q: Can you describe the taste? Just wondering before I purchase.

To me it's just like an unsweet version of black tea. Not bitter. A touch of an earthy taste. I add lemon.

I started out with a chai dandelion tea which was very pleasant so try some chai seasoning. Also I will double the water and add an tea bag in a flavor I like to cover the taste. I like the fruit teas as a "blender."
