Great knitting needles! I've recently gotten into knitting and these are much better than the metal ones. I feel the yarn doesn't just slip off the needles when I don't want it to.

Takumi's are just my favorite needles. For one thing, I like the sharp, elongated points, which help avoid splitting loosely woven yarn when I knit a stitch. They're also very sturdy. A lot of wood/bamboo needles start to curve over time with use. These retain their straight shape, no matter how much you use them. I also like that the surface has just the right smoothness -- enough so that the yarn slides over them with minimal resistance, yet not too slippery, allowing the stitches to slide all over the place. Did I mention these are my favorites? Well, it's worth repeating.

I have been knitting forever and find these needles to be very nice. These would be great for a beginner because your yarn will not slip off so easily like the aluminum needles.

Its easy to hold and never snags on the yarn. I don't have to worry about getting splinters or it even breaking because it's sturdy and well made. I am very satisfied with my purchase!

I just got these delivered earlier today. Started knitting with them right away. I’m in the process of making a scarf. I usually loom knit everything. So I decided to give it a try with these, and I LOVE them. They are the perfect length, the glide is amazing too.

A pattern I was knitting called for this size needles. I like to work with bamboo the best, lighter and no slipping.
