Q: Why does it have a p65 warning?

Normally the Prop65 warning lists at least one of the problematic substances (like lead or cadmium) . Unfortunately without having the product tested or seeing valid test results from the company it's impossible for a consumer to know all the hazardous substances in a product. What I can tell you from my own research though is normally small appliances have toxic flame retardants in the cord, or heavy metals like lead and antimony. Sometimes buttons/dials on a product have toxic substances as well. For more info research Prop 65 and maybe check out Tamara Rubin/ Lead Safe Mama; she is a consumer advocate primarily focused on lead safety, but also addresses other heavy metals and does product testing.

Q: Why is this 10 dollars more than the black version, is it better?

We had a different black space heater. Ordered this one in white. The heater works great, and the white looks clean and blends in nicely. Worth the $ to me to have it look better.

Q: does this have a two or three-pronged plug?

Two pronged. I use it in a small bathroom to heat the space to a comfortable temperature. It takes about 10 minutes.

Q: Does it turn off once it reaches the temperature or does it run until it is turned off manually?

It does turn itself off. But the thermostat is not very reliable. Sometimes turns off before you want and sometimes comes on when the temperature is higher than you want. I do like the heaters as it keeps a small Building warm.
