1206-MQ Barnacle Buster Concentrate - 1 Quart, Lime

Works great. I used it in my boat AC UNITS. Filled the lines and coils with it and let it sit for 4 hours. Flushed it out with high pressure water hose.EXCELLANT!!

We use this on our diesel engines and our AC units on our catamaran. It definitely does the job and is much rather use this than straight acid like you read on boat groups. We’ve used it for years and our engines and AC units run clean and cool.

Tried at suggested mix and had poor results, but when used full strength it worked great. i suggest you try recommended before going full strength.

I use this every time I need to clean the raw water strainer / basket on the A/C cooling line for my boat. It dissolves all the slime and gook that ends up in there and helps remove the barnacles as well. I usually put some in a pan and soak the basket in it. Also, I will pour some into the strainer body and let work its magic... within seconds it will start foaming and rising to the top as it works on the strainer contents. Unlike some stronger agent like muriatic acid, it does not harm hoses and plastics and the normal surfaces it would come in contact with and also is safer to use and ecologically friendly.

Did not work for barnacles on external surfaces. 2 to 1 mix with water applied and reapplied 4 times no effect at all. Perhaps it works inside engine cooling passages if circulated for several hours but forget external use. Save your money and use it to buy a few wire brushes and scrapers with change for lunch.

I was concerned about the loss of water flow while using the Air on my boat. turns out there was such a large build up from being a salt water boat. barnacles, sand, dirt, shells. After using it, we noticed a significant increase in water outflow. It was amazing!!!!!!!!!! And also, the air conditioner was cooler to the touch, I guess it wasn't running so hard anymore!!! Love this stuff. Wish I took a picture of what came out of the lines.

I used it to keep my boat a/c clear , the lines still had jellyfish in them . Will not buy again.
