Q: would you recommend using this with a cochlear implant or would it not be high powered enough?

Actually, the original Cochlear implant batteries are not batteries, but Lithium ion capacitor, or very close to that. A 100 Farads LiI capacitor costs $20 However, since the implant´s are made to Cochlear design and specs, they can´t be found on the market and Cochlear can sell them for more than $300. Since their shelf life is around 2 years, it may be cheaper to replace them with the non rechargeable 675. I wasted $150 in a 675 charger which was useless as mentioned in another post: you could hardly get 2 hours of use. So, two options: use the non rechargeable 675 or jerry-rig a wired ion lithium capacitor through a dead Cochlear battery and use the Cochlear charger. In theory, if you accept to have a wire dangling behind your ear, it should work and I bet a 100F capacitor would provide several days of use. I am waiting for an order for 2 capacitors to test the idea. Best.

Since they are rechargable I wouldn’t.

I posted answers both for the batteries and the charger. But in essence: the Cochlear rechargeable battery is not a... battery: it is a condensator which acts as an accumulator, with far more capacity that the P 675. 675 only last about 5 hours, while the cochlear original accumulator gives about 20 hours or more. So, you´ll have to do the maths.
