Really good at a great price
I bought this after reading a multitude of reviews like you’re doing now.Buy it.So similar to the Veydras at a third of the price. Really sharp, super smooth, mine feels well built with all metal construction, super smooth rings.Just a great image at an insanely low cost. Just ordered the 25mm and will definitely get any new focal lengths if released in the future. I shoot a lot of documentary’s on GH5’s for online content and these are sooo worth the price.

If you're getting into videography on a budget this is a MUST HAVE
The build quality is absolutely amazing. The sharpness is fine but i mean with editing that doesnt really matter. The focus and aperture rings are SUPER smooth so you could do active focusing while recording. The only con I can think of is that it is a heavy lens, so if you're depending on a stabilizer it MIGHT not work.TLDR; If you're like me and don't got a lot of money to invest on a lens, save up for this one because I HIGHLY recommend this. great all around lens with that shallow depth of field everyone loves without sacrificing the ability to film in tighter spaces compared to a 50mm lens.

Meike's Instant Classic Cine Lens
A solidly built smooth operating Cine style fast prime lens that has the right number of professional features to make this a very excellent choice for the serious working camera operator. The all metal lens construction has a silky smooth click less aperture control ring measured in repeatable accurate T stops coupled with an equally smooth focus throw both geared and designed for rigged cinema style follow focus knob or whip operation makes the MEIKE 16mm T2.2 a must have tool for professional video work. Almost zero lens breathing when focus is racked and no noticeable chromatic aberration makes this fast sharp workhorse budget Cine style lens a terrific value. For me this was money well spent indeed.

An instant treasure!
I am completely and utterly thrilled with this purchase!I knew I was going to full-manual so that is not a problem for me - just be ready to do all the adjustments yourself.Unlike a photography lens, the throw on this is exceptionally smooth and I never missed focus once during a wedding I shot. I shot the entire outdoor wedding between T2.2 and T4.0 using an adjustable ND filter. This lens is fantastic. The build quality, the bokeh, and the focusing are all top-notch.Some may complain that the all-metal construction makes it heavy, but I LOVE that it adds weight to my cinema rig - I have ZERO micro-jitters with my setup and the lens is partly responsible for that!

Good product.
Great product for it’s price. I was nervous about purchasing it but now I don’t regret it. :) The only thing negative I have to say is, my apartment mailbox have a spot to put boxes on. The deliverer could of put it on it than putting it on the floor. Or else put it front of my door. Other than that, I’m happy with the product.

Better than I anticipated
So far this thing has been amazing. Focus throw is long which is good compared to my hair movement out of focus stills lenses. Sharpness from the footage I’ve captured so far has been spot on. The focus breathing is unnoticeable when pulling from one subject to another. This lens’ build quality is solid as a rock. It’s metal all the way around and the front element doesn’t stick out so I have a UV filter on for protection. On the Zcam E2 M4 the locking twist is solid as well. Doesn’t budge for me once locked in. I’m going to be making a set of these cine lenses for sure.

A must for video work on a small camera.
I use this for my "B" camera for wedding/events and have found it to be a great choice. The quality of the lens itself is far better than you would expect for the price, and the build quality is five stars.

The lens I received appears slightly used
This is probably not Meike's fault, but this lens arrived in an unsealed box, and has several minor cosmetic dings. It also came with the inner lens cap free floating in the box, and not protecting the glass. The cap does come off easily, and may have come loose while in transit. It was not very snug in it's box, and if you flipped the box upside down, the whole thing moves around quite a bit. The lens Itself does seem to be in good working order, and the damages are very minor, but I paid for a brand new lens and thats what I expect to receive. I will be returning this for an exchange.Came from WebyShops.
