Bright! Great value when on sale.
MUCH Brighter than the original bulbs on our 2015 Nissan Rogue.

Just installed 3/3/24
Just looking at the brightness in the daytime. old bulb and this new style bulb look the same. Tomorrow morning when I go to work will be the test if there is a difference in the dark. I update this when I do. see how long it last. passenger side high beam light that I replaced on 3/3/24. I did NOT notice any difference from the light that I still had in the drivers side. compared to the new one on the passenger side.

Brighter and better pattern than stock
***UPDATE* one bulb burned out this week, other bulb is still brighter than the stock bulb I put back in until my new set of bulbs arrive. bulb lasted 5 years and I drive with my headlights on every day. still a 5 star review*****Crystal Vision bulb is definitely brighter and has a better light pattern than the stock bulbs. I would have people almost nightly flash their headlights at me. Sometimes I would drive with just the led fog lights on as they lit the road better than the stock yellow bulbs. The Crystal vision definitely has a hot spot making aiming them easy, the stock bulbs were more like flood lights. I can see down the road significantly farther and clearer than with the stock bulbs and can also see what is in the ditch line. Not as white as I was hoping but much better than stock. Photo with DRL on is the Crystal vision. The stock lights were so poor I did not take a before night picture and my vehicle is less than 6 months old. I have projector style headlights and from my research LED headlights do not work well in halogen projectors, so these seemed the brightest, and whitest option. Will definitely consider Crystal vision again when it is time for headlight replacement.

Good replacement but you will NOT see any difference from oem
These are okay if you are using them to replace your factory high beams because they blew out. If you are looking for them to be brighter - no chance. If you are hoping for whiter light - no chance. If you're using them as a drl upgrade - your wasting money. These bulb has no hint of blue or the brighter white that they show on the picture of the box. What's even worst is I had one bulb go out on me already and I made sure I didn't touch the bulb when I installed them.

very long projected light. though on the yellow side
I have led low beams headlights at around 5500k and that has a yellowish to them. I installed these high beam bulbs at night when I turned them on and my first thought was ugly yellow color so much more so then my other lights, what a waste of time and money then i noticed how far they project and am surprised how far they project light. i was disappointed the light from these is really on the yellow side, yet they project much farther then anything standard bulb I have tried and i like that,I drive on country roads and a bright headlight is very helpful. i only used them a few times and am happy with the distance i can see. i don't know if you can get any better with this standard bulb type, there not white. if you want white your going to have to use around 6000k xenon or LED, any more then 6000k it turns blue anything under 6000k starts turning yellow. As for standard bulbs these are the best i have tried and cant beet the price.I remembered trying blue tinted brand name bulbs like these on my other older truck many years ago and was disappointed from low brightness and color, I thought things may have changed over the years so I tried these. I not positive these are brighter but they do project farther then the bulbs that they replaced

Brighter and Whiter than Stock
My car came stock with Sylvania Long Life bulbs. They were already bright, but I was looking for a whiter light. This Philips bulb does the trick. It is whiter in comparison with a normal bulb, but it will still have some yellow to it.For the price you are paying (under $25 for me) this is a nice upgrade to squeeze every last lumen out of a 55 watt halogen bulb.Sure, there are whiter/bluer Halogen bulbs out there, but you are sacrificing bulb life, and brightness because you have to filter out the yellow light with a blue coating on the glass of the bulb. Halogen filaments simply produce yellow light naturally, it's hard to get around that while keeping brightness and bulb life.If you need something way brighter, and want more color options, than HID lights are the way to go. If you are against HID kits, then settle for these bulbs. They are a great balance of brightness/whiteness and bulb life. You don't want HIDs in your high beams anyway since HIDs take a little bit to warm up. But if you do consider it, research Morimoto HID kits. They are a great brand.

Here's the low down folks...
Firstly, Gabriel Ricci's review is spot on, I did similar exhaustive review and read up of all the aftermarket replacement bulbs (DRLs and High Beams) for Honda Pilot 2011. These came closest without going the expensive, warranty voiding HID conversion or other brand bulbs like Syl and PIAA etc. also Philips reputation and several owners' experience counted in the decision. The vendor Morex shipped it fast. Now if you know what you are buying into and have expectations accordingly, these bulbs are awesome, they are brighter than factory OEM bulbs ( Sylvania and Osram), little hint of blue, still remains in the yellow , near white spectrum, maybe about 3800 to 4000 kelvin. These are nowhere near HID nor meant to be. Neither they are the Gaudy, bluish color that some of the other bulbs look. These preserve or enhance the intensity of the OEM while improving about 25% light output, which in turn is very effective during night driving. Cannot comment on the longevity as they have been in use just a few hours now... Will update after 6 months or earlier if there are any life related issues. BTW, installation on a Pilot is a real PITA given the tight working room to access these lights. Need good amount of finger dexterity to get the job done. Driver's side is more difficult, but not undo able with some patience, nothing to be removed like air filter intake etc. wear thin working gloves and ensure no dirt, smudges on the bulb during installation.
