The art is exquisite. The molding is perfectly shaped. Mother Mary’s face looks young, and the more you look at it you would see her smiling sometimes.If you’re used to the classic Mary face, it will take a moment to get used to her features, but once you do, it draws you in and allows you to imagine the Virgin Mary’s out of this world beauty.It stands well in a protected areaBut as soon as the wind season is over, I’m going to place her outside on a cement pedestal with a metal stick that goes through the hole from the bottom to keep her in place, not that I know that she would fall, but I would never take a chance. I also bought an arched trellis to place the statue under flowers, it is a small DIY project and I will update with photos once done.I painted her with a clear sealant to keep the colors intact from the sun. It’s added a tiny bit of gloss which I don’t like as much because the actual finish is much prettier. But it’s hardly noticeable and I would rather protect the statue if outdoors.She is too pretty to take a chance on her being knocked over by any windThe price is incredible in comparison to everything else on the web, but it is perfect for my budget as I couldn’t afford to pay more.Hail MaryUpdate: it turned out that the trellis was a much more labor extensive project for now, so as you see, meanwhile I’m growing her garden.The only time I took her inside was when we had the hurricane warning in South Florida.The white pedestal is made of stone. This statue of Our Lady is absolutely beautiful. It is located at the top of my stairwell as you enter my condo. The statue is there to greet and bless all those people visiting my home, like family, friends, or visitors. I highly recommend this statue to any family or person looking for a magnificent statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Amazon did a great job in delivering this product too. The Queen of our home deserved a room of her own. She is in the prayer room dedicated to Her. Our Church has the same statue, and wanted one for our home, was so happy to find it! It arrived a little earlier than we expected which made it all the better since we couldn't wait to see her. She was packaged very well, and survived shipping. She is beautiful! We'll be getting her blessed very soon.

I have several statues from Joseph's Studios and the first thing I look for is the face and this Immaculate Heart of Mary has a beautiful face and is of the same high quality as my Mercy Jesus statue that is about 2' tall from the same company. Resin statues are fragile but not as much so as the heavier plaster ones they used to make. I would not feel comfortable putting it out side. I am very pleased with the price knowing that statues can be quite expensive as works of art and that they all need to be handled with care.
