Best brand to buy. No problems
I bought mine in March and it hasn't stopped up to now. I had to inform myself on how to use the media for rock polishing. But I am learning. Dan&Darci tumblers are the best brand. I did a bit of research and found that they are ranked as the best band tumblers. No problems with it whatsoever.

Great hit with our grandson
It comes with starter items, and we had collected a few over time before starting this project...a lot of fun.Does need adult guidance.

Working well, but was it refurbished?
Item seemed refurbished. There's paint marks that don't match the color. Also, the boxed was not glued together at the corners and the box fell apart when I opened it. Other than that, the tumbler seems to be working well, as I'm on the 2nd cycle. Also, all items were in the box. One thing I am worried about, is the tumbler pulls to the left when running and one of the plastic washers is wearing down. Hopefully, even with that, it will continue to work well.

Good value, still works, 3 years of heavy use
Got this as a bday gift for my wife 3 years ago. She used it non stop the entire 1st year. Sourced serval different types of plastic tumbling beads for different materials. Many, many pounds of tumbled treasures in my home now. She just remarked at how well this still works.

Perfect, as I expected
Perfect for my Grandson, age 8. Great starter tumbler. It is loud, but hey we weren't expecting a professional product. It operates perfectly as I was expecting.

Works as advertised - just be patient :-)
The media could not be loaded. I'm in the middle of step 3 (there are 4 steps total). The one thing you need to be aware of is that it takes about a month to run the entire cycle for one set of stones. After completing steps 1 and 2, I'm very pleased with how it works and how the stones look so far. It's fairly quiet overall; however, I run it in the garage and cannot hear it in the house, don't think you'd want to have it running inside the house.
