In Another World With My Smartphone: Volume 2 Kindle Edition

Bought for a gift as they are reading this series. They liked this book very much.

This title fills in up to five in the anime. This author adds to the humour of the series by these novels with the manga cells. If I were part of an anime/manga club again. I would loan and recommend both the anime and the novels because it provides so much more enjoyment. If you saw my first review. I said I was disappointed with the anime. I believe the anime was going to be a two season series and was not picked up for the second season or the second season was never released on dvd. This volume adds again to the plot line of Lyon and Oga, even the beast king gets more development. I feel these novels are required to really enjoy the anime release. Too bad the dvds did not give these as pdf/epub for us with ereaders as bonuses. But as I have said these titles are worth the cost I paid for them. This title explains why Toya was hiding his use of gate and adds to that part of the story line. Even explains the lack of worry of the knights of both nations leaving their charges to save the village. With a little adjusting the story it makes if feel more truthful story. Even if innocents of the village were in danger the knights would have stayed the course. It would have hard on the knights but traditionally their focus would have been God, King then country. If they failed at their protection detail it could have implications of war between the two nations.

By far not one of the best series I have read. Much more suited for children, but it is fun and has an interesting story and concept to say the least.

What new locations and fun adventures are waiting for us next novel wise the manga nd anime sure left things out so I can't wait

Coming into this second volume, I was worried that the main character's OP abilities would eventually get to me like they were with the first volume. Thankfully, despite the fact that the maim character does get more OP to the point it becomes ridiculous, I was surprised to find myself laughing and genuinely enjoying this second volume. The comedy is on point and the characters really make the story enjoyable. In regards to the main character's OP abilities, while they continue to get stronger and more prevalent in the story, some of the new abilities and their uses were interesting and fun to read.If you were on the fence about reading more of the story in this second volume, I highly recommend reading this volume before deciding whether or not to end your journey with the first volume. The first volume focused on introducing us to the main characters and how the world works, while this second volume builds on that and adds in an enjoyable and calming slice of life aspect while expanding on the world building and introducing new characters.

Enjoying reading the shenanigans of Touya and his girlfriends. I love reading all of the small details that weren’t shown in the anime. I honestly love the pure heart of him.

I originally watched the anime, but they only had 12 episodes which leads up to book number 3. I was pleased to find out the light novel went even further with the story. There is even more in the box than there was in the anime. If you’d like to get lost in a fantasy world, it is easy to see yourself as the main character being overpowered in a fantasy setting. There are 23 books so far, and I am glad that I have read them all. I am sincerely I took this journey and I cannot recommend this series enough.

Volume 2 continues with light-hearted, slice of life fun as Tonya explores a foreign fantasy world with a smartphone and harem of cute girls at his side. For those interested in a romantic comedy-esque fantasy world novel, this should adequately fit the bill.

Even this volume is funny and It was a nice reading

Touya continues to build a collection of girls (no sex, so I will not call it a harem). Being the innocent OP character that he is, he also goes around solving problems and building his achievements.Interested in the girls, but being raised in modern Japan, he has no idea how they all feel...

I've read the fan translations of this series, now I can read the PROPER translation. Thank you Amazon!

le recomiendo esta serie a todo aquel que quiera una serie para pasar el rato, esta serie como no promete nada no debe nada, es como esas series de 1 episodio una trama pero mas extenso donde si se ve un desarrollo en el protagonista, no esperes al tipo con problemas hasta el donde no le cabe, este tipo es lo suficientemente listo para evitar eso (creo) un barry allen en toda ley que cocina su historia a fuego lento dónde el resultado vale totalmente la espera
