Q: The case i received does not seem to be compatible with the wide angle photo mode. The case is clearly visable in photos. Is this a design flaw?

Oooh! I think you are right. I never noticed it because I haven't been using the wide-angle lens. I just verified your observation. the lip of the hole for the camera cuts off the wide-angle view by a good 1/2 inch of the view of the camera when looking at the S10E screen.
