The best hand truck I ever owned.
This is the best hand truck I ever owned. I'm a mobile DJ, so I'm constantly moving my gear in and out of venues. I frequently deal with hotel carts and I owned several hand trucks. I made the mistake of buying the Home Depot special a couple times but those can't handle the load. This hand truck in particular is light weight, versatile and rugged enough to handle heavy loads. The casters are good quality and they roll with easy. Usually my others dollies get stuck on carpets. I used this hand truck on different surfaces such as concrete, carpets, hardwood and tile without issues. The 3-1 positions is my favorite feature. It allows me to maximize the amount of gear I can load on the flat position and it minimize my trips. I will recommend this hand truck to anybody moving things constantly like boxes and others items. This is not an industrial grade hand truck. Do not move heavy things like refrigerators with this hand truck, there are other heavy duty hand trucks designed for that task. Definitely this is the best value for a medium duty hand truck.

Love this design.... prefer air tires.
Great hand truck, this is my second one. solid tires are great but prefer the softness of air tires.... Easily convertable. Very sturdy.

Solid construction and very useful.
Arrived completely assembled, which is a rare treat these days. You can unbox it and start using it right away, which is exactly what I did. The large balloon tires are excellent for outdoor use. Seems very well constructed, even though its only about 60 pounds.. The bottom plate folds out of the way when not in use or when used as a cart. I'm 65 years old and I was able to easily move a sofa without any help using it. So far I am quite pleased.

Fantastic Product - Highly Recommend!
This is perhaps one of the best purchases we've made on Amazon, and we buy a lot of stuff, here!We have had this for a couple of years, and have used this to move furniture and appliances on numerous occasions in both the regular dolly type of mode as well as flat. The extra set of wheels to allow you to have it rest in an inclined dolly mode is fantastic, and really takes the strain off of having to partially support the weight while you're moving.Whether hauling a lot of yard waste up the driveway and out to the curb, or moving boxes it has truly come in handy! It goes from upright to flat with ease, and we've never experienced a problem. Well, it is sort of like having a pickup truck, since friends have borrowed it (so you might say that is a bit of a problem, but a good one).I am SO glad that we didn't go for something less versatile or sturdy. The extra money we spent for this truly heavy-duty model has been worth every penny. Do yourself, your arms, your back, your knees, and your sanity a favor and get this modelThe only reason I gave it a three star in the light weight category is that it isn't. However, I cannot fault that at all, since I would not want to give up any of the sturdiness that it provides by going with a lighter but probably more flimsy model.

Be reasonable with your expectations. At least it is metal and welded well.
I was spoiled by the previous model, but this was the one they make and sell now and seemed the best value and closest to tried and true I could get my mitts on. I liked the old loop handle, over the separate hand grabs, which the position it puts my elbows out feels a bit uncomfortable. Maybe it wouldn't be an issue, if I was a large dude, but I'm a solid petite woman. It has good control, though. The black plastic covering the handles is cheap and hard, but at least not uncomfortable. If you read your manual (or just online description), one would know the 45 degree position is lower weight rated, than the upright or horizontal. I do want to run more around and move heavier things than the fold flat small $60 model, though. Until I get some appliances (and this isn't an appliance dolly, anyways), I'll probably never own anything to really sit too heavy on it, because I don't want to own anything, I can't handle myself. It's a good dolly and very handy, so I expect some good years out of this puppy, as long as I don't have to sell it on craigslist, because I don't have somewhere to stash it.If I had to nitpick: It doesn't have the up the stairs runners. I'd appreciate a way to stop it from rolling, if you are dumb enough to park it on an incline. There's been a few times, where it wasn't rolling, but when it got lighter, it started rolling on me, lol. Also, I didn't check Costco inventory, before joining and then I had to pay $149 for this instead of the $99 it was before the model changed, so boo. It's shorter, so it's easier to put in some vehicles, but even for a shorty like me, slightly less pleasant to push. The scoop though is bigger, and I am not sure I actually like it having a larger scoop. The flex worried me a little, but so good so far. ~Movin', movin', movin', keep them doggies movin'~
