Q: are saying that this ruler is not as accurate or easy to use ob a domestic machine?

I used the Westalee ruler to mark my fabric before I use the templates. I use the templates with a Baby Lock machine and use their Open Toe Ruler Foot which is designed specifically for these rulers.

Q: How thick is this ruler?

The piece with the design is 1/8 inch thick. Then they have added an edge also 1/8 inch on top and that lays 1/4 inch in all around it.

Q: The regular westalee crosshair ruler looks exactly the same as the limited edition westalee crosshair ruler. what’s the difference?

There is no such product as a "Limited Edition" Crosshair Ruler by Westalee Design. This is perhaps a package purchase, and you'll need to contact the particular reseller, VirVentures, for more information.
