I almost didn't get this set due to the very negative reveiws., but it was so perfectly sized for the space we had in our house, I took the plunge. In the end, I have no idea what the negativity is all about. I found it to be a very sold piece of furniture. It arrived undamaged in 2 boxes that were very well packed. My son put it together for me and he had nothing but praise for the way it was manufactured. Eveything lined up, nothing warped or mismatched. He has put together many pieces of furniture from kits and while they are always a bit challenging, this nook came together very well. All the parts were clearly labeled and everything was included. It's beautiful, solid wood, nothing cheap about it. I would say you should have 2 people on hand to assemble and set aside a 4 to 6 hours when you are not stressed out and frustrated. As you can see from the pictures, we decided to paint it and "distress" it to match our kitchen, but it would have been beatiful without it. Very pleased with this purchase.

The drawer sticks and I haven't figured out why yet, other than that good table and love the chest storage under the bench, great for all those blankets and quilts.

Just moved into a new place and ordered this corner table. Table top had a couple dings in it! but still good quality.

As you can see this nook is bueatiful. However, it is much smaller then we thought. Just keep in mind it is small. The instruction are crap, holes don't line up, and the lid to the ottom is bowed and doesnt close all the way. The ottom and table are sturdy but the ottom with the draw has weak spots and the beach feels like it wont last long. We considered sending it back but my husband was able to redrill holes and reinforce everything. It took 4 days to complete due to all of the things that needed attention. I recommand shopping around a physical location for something like this.

Table completely split on unboxing. No quality control. Holes in the wrong place. Bad directions. Poor quality overall.

I really like this so far. It took me a while to put together, and I had to wait for help to attach the seat to the bench that opens from the top. It looks nice in my tiny condo kitchen and gives me a ton more storage. I would have really loved if it came in more finishes, but the dark matches my cabinets so I’ll take it. It’s pretty sturdy so far, and I’ll update this with any issues.

I was really excited to get this nook, until I put it together. The instructions are 29 pages long. By the time you get to page 13 to start attaching the sitting bench, NONE of the hole line up. We had to drill at 10 holes because they were off at least 1.5 cm. I also had to buy wood glue to fill in the cracks. This was an exhausting process and not worth the money or the style.

The fact that it is all solid pine is impressive. I have been a cabinet maker for almost 40 years and this is the nicest product I have seen without coming from my own hands.
