1. Wall Mounts can be found under Amazon ASIN# B0018TAIQI or search "Vertical Surface Mount" - 2. As far as springs, We do NOT recommend nor guarantee ANY customer spring modifications for increasing load capacity. It is designed and intended for 2lb max. If one were still attempting to modify their device at outside of recommended use and at their own financial risk. They would look to their Grainger Supplier or similar for 1/2 inch diameter springs between 4" or 5" inch length depending on how much increase is needed. With specifications similar to Grainger spring item #1NAE4. HOWEVER The above description is with an under 2lb intended use. Flexibility and articulation is as is with the current springs. Altering the device alters its function and voids any returns/refunds/warranties.

Yes, it would be a custom fit on your part but there are strap mounts available on amazon that can enable you to attach your Flir e8, (look up under ASIN B00B1YBVGG and also view the similar. Choose one that will fit around your e8's handle and that has a 1/4" female or male standard bolt connection.) Also if you google images under "e8 tripod mount" you can see examples of how others have achieved the desired result. You can then attach the strap mount to the Heron Arm's C bracket which has 1/4" female and male reversible threaded bolt connector. Be sure your accessories do not exceed the 2lb's weight threshold.
