As you can see I got quite a bit out of it I didn’t do the prime like they tried to do I felt like it was a waste of product and I knew I needed to cover a large area these are snake proof hunting boots or general work outside cleaning up around the yard time so I wasn’t too concerned about the luxe I used double blue painters tape and then I put one strip of electric tape on the side closest to the toe. I did however put such a thick coat on the first one that I had to kind of scrape it off with the popsicle stick that they have included and I felt like it that worked really well honestly I even had a little tiny bit left over to fill the holes on my steel toes where the leather is broken and the steel toe shows through. The reason for my application is that these boots had cracked where they crease just behind the toes and after purchasing the $250 redwing Irish setters they were also snake proof I honestly felt like they were too bulky for me I want to stay with these I’ve had it for a couple years more than a couple actually are you at five they’re still good I don’t use them all that often maybe a month or two out of the year and all I really needed was the cracks fixed so that I can continue to wear them without getting my feet wet I feel like this accomplished accomplished that so far anyway I do see that it’s peeled a little bit on one side and I just applied it yesterday morning so it’s within the 24 hour cure time however maybe not quite so good on rubber rubber surfaces or ever I do feel that if you were to put a little bit thicker coat on the part where it folds more often you might get better results particularly on the insides of the big toeWhere sometimes people kick their feet together anyway overall I’d say maybe flexseal would be just as good or that Elastomeric truck bed coating you could buy a pint or a quart of it at Walmart for like 30 bucks you might get similar results with that although I’ve never tried

Better than I expected Great product for the price

This stuff works pretty great. My husband always uses it on the toes of his steel toe boots to keep them from wearing and falling apart. We purchased some for my cowboy boots. They have slick leather soles and after three years of heavy use the soles started to wear and create a hole in the center just about to the insole. We decided to give this a try. Smeared it all over the bottom of the sole and leveled it out, let it dry over night. It works like a charm! After a little bit of wear the shiny color goes away a bit so it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb. Saved me from having to pay to resole my boots or having to get another new pair!

Highly recommend this product! I first witnessed the tuff toe epoxy outlast a pair of my brothers boots and had to give it a try for myself. I paid the extra for the gun applicator because of convenience and it was well worth the money. It allows you to evenly apply with little to no effort at all. The tuff toe itself is amazing. I didn’t think it would hold up at first because I am extremely hard on my boots but this stuff is amazing. I am a concrete finisher so the toes on all of my boots that don’t have tough toe were worn through the leather within days of wearing them. I will put this on every pair of boots that I ever buy.

Boss complained due to the hole in my boot showing the steel toe. In his opinion the leather being torn was a safety issue. $250 boots and not worn out so bought this and covered the toe like the video on the website says too along with preparing the area. And it has been awesome. Put in on awhile ago and still looks like I just put it on. Very durable and doesn’t peal (yes I tried to peal it off lol). Wanna repair ur boots or shoes this is what you need.

I like this boot stuff. It was enough for two pairs.But it does look a tad bit silly on the boot

I have used this twice now and it saves the toe of the boot extremely well. I also highly recommend using the applicator gun, it applies the product much more evenly and in a much more controlled manner.

By careful application and following the instructions, you can repair several pairs of shoes or cap up to 4 boots if you prepare The shoes beforehand and do them all at once.
