Works great for MacBook Pro and if you want to use a stereo mic, unlike the other USB adapters
Really like how they tell you which one is used for what (see their pictures supplied). This comes super handy for my MacBook Pro (2014). I use the blue one so I can stick headphones and a stereo mic in it so that I can use both; a little sad that I can switch within the sound settings of the laptop to use external speakers when I want to but it's no biggie. It probably wouldn't allow that because I'm using the jack. I know that you could choose the output when you're using one of those USB stereo adapters that similar to this but those don't do what I wanted -- to use a stereo mic. They only support mono mics, the same thing the this red one does. This set really covers all bases I need. The quality of the adapters feels sturdy and has almost like a rubberized texture to it. I like it and I'm glad I made the purchase. It's pretty hard to do so when they're are not that many reviews

Handy audio accessories.
Very handy for your audio tool kit. As with seemingly everything else, audio connectors have become more complicated over the years growing from the original TS to TRS to TRRS. (Check Wikipedia for a better explanation than I can provide here.) Most portable media devices use either a TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve), the older standard, or a newer version, TRRS, introduced with the iPhone. Trouble comes when you want to use a TRS jack with a TRRS connector. These very handy adapters let you do it with ease and some degree of style. The red one is the Rockit, which accepts mono-mic input and outputs stereo for headphones in the other socket. The Wiretap permits use of a mic headset with another set of headphones. Or you can use a Square or similar credit card reader at the same time as a headset. The Toaster is a bit confusing: it will enable mic input with two binaural mono channels or splits a combo jack to two binaural mono, one with mic input. I use the Rockit the most in place of the traditional Y-cable. The combo is the best deal: it gives you three adapters whenever you might need them. Jerry

Excellent all the way around. Great for PS4s. Five stars all the way.
I looked high-and-low locally for someone who made something like these. NO luck there. I can not complain about these AT ALL. I know some people say they are too big but I totally disagree. You have to consider that the manufacturer needs to take four separate electric paths and splice them to eight paths all in a little splice box. These are small splitter boxes and excellently produced considering what is being done in them! FIVE STARS all the way!!! I think each splitter has its purpose. And used each one. My favorite is the blue. I use it to split my PS4's controller audio output and microphone input. Now I can use the stock PS4's microphone/mono speaker with a high quality light weight stereo head phones or ear buds. Beats wearing my heavy gaming USB headphones! I posted a picture too.

Only splitter that works with iPhone for external speaker OUT and external microphone IN.
The RED one is the only splitter i can find, that works with an iPhone, and successfully splits both the speaker OUT, and the microphone / mic IN. This is the only product i can find that works with an external microphone.

Sturdy build and effective design.
I mainly use the black adaptor to split a standard apple earbud with mic and controls and an aux to my car stereo since my 2008 Scion XB doesn't have USB control + Charging feature. So when I get a call, I turn off my car stereo and just put on my ear buds (which stay connected at all times). I can use the volume controls too and button on the ear bud to adjust volume or pause music or skip or go back (with double click or triple click on ear buds) with my hand on the shift knob. Sturdy stuff and it really makes what I need to do for my car easy.

Great value, quality, and versatility! Now to figure out which one is which...
If you know what you need from this set, it's a great deal, but figuring out which splitter does what is a bit difficult. I purchased these because other simple splitters were poor quality or didn't work at all. I've had these for about a year, and here's how I've been using them: - The BLACK one (Wiretap) splits to two stereo headphones, one of which can still have a microphone on it. I use it to watch movies with my wife on an airplane. - The RED one (Rockit) splits combo jacks (TRRS) to a stereo headphone line and a mono mic line. I use it when giving presentations and need a line in and out at the same time. - The BLUE one (Toaster) says it's for amateur DJs, but to be honest, I can't really figure out why I would need it. It seems to work like the Wiretap, but with mono lines...not sure, sorry Pros: - Durable - Good value - Compact Cons: - Not labeled well

These are fantastic! They do exactly as described and work flawlessly
These are fantastic! They do exactly as described and work flawlessly. I connected my old Xbox X12 Headset to my brand new playstation 4 fooling it into thinking it was a PS headset! No complaints!!
