Amazing Unit!!
I paired this with 4 Pioneer A-Seies TS-A6881F speakers in my 2001 F250 Super duty Utility box truck. Buy the right parts and adapters, and everything was plug and play. Tried unit with the 2 factory 25 watt speakers and it sounded really good, major improvement of stock radio. Then I installed the 4 PioneerTS-A6881F speakers... WOW, Amazing, Incredible!!! My truck only came with 2 speakers, but back doors were already wired, so why not. The sound is incredible, and the volume is louder then I can comfortably stand. Take some time to navigate menus, and you will find more settings and control of things then you can hope for. Using a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Phone fits fine and secure, but had to order a thinner case so it will fit with no chance of falling out. The latest version of the Pioneer app works very well. And this unit is very very Nice. Added bonus was the button for Alexa . So I can have music going from app of my choice Have Navigation going. quick buttons on unit to switch back and forth. Now I need to find a gas station or something. press the Alexa button and ask for what you want.. Could not be easier . I do wish there was a quick access to mute. Volume control is easy, next song is easy, but if you want to mute it is 2 menus away. But you can simply press the pause button. problem solved.

GREAT Head unit at a great price!
I was a little hesitant going with this unit due to mixed reviews, but at only $100 I figured why not! This unit is everything I wanted and I will address the concerns I had due to other reviews that I had read: 1. Issues connecting. I have ZERO issues connecting and reconnecting via bluetooth. I think some people might have had issues with multiple phones and priorities, but I only use one phone and it works perfectly (Samsung S10+) 2. Issues with the app. The app isn't the greatest, but it gets the job done. I highly reccomend using the "Android auto for phone" app. It has an intuitive interface that gets you everything you need. You can use the pioneer app for eq and other stereo settings. 3. Phone holster issues. This holster is BEEFY! I am very impressed with it, but I can see how people with really thick phones might have issues with it holding the phone. Oh, and you dont have to use the holster. If you have pandora playing and shut off the car, it will start back up when you crank the car again... with the phone in your pocket! Overall this is a STEAL for $100

I likey
I like the stereo; meets my needs. I have an ‘03 Dodge Durango with a single din deck and I wanted a pop out touch screen. They are often badly made and unless you want to spend well over a grand, they have terrible reviews. I googled “single din with smartphone as touch screen” and this popped up. I gave it a shot and the more I use it, the more features I discover in the app. I love the adjustability of the sound and frequencies; it’s state of the art for such an affordable stereo. I linked it to a Pioneer 4 channel amp (easy) to power my 4 Polk Audio DB652 6.5” door speakers. Being able to manage the frequencies has made me love this thing. Things I didn’t like, I’ve figured out and you will too. Cons: manual and app info is lacking, so it’s a lot of self discovery. No pause button on the receiver, so you may have to find your phone if it’s not in the holder. If your iPhone has facial recognition and you accidentally lock the phone while installing it, you may have to remove it again to unlock your phone with your face and reattach it to the mount. No biggie. Pros: really versatile unit and a good, adjustable out/in up/down phone holder that easily holds my iPhone 11 ProMax in an UAG case. Loaded with sound adjustment features and some preset sounds you may like.

Absolutely the best possible head unit for what I need it for.
I love love love this deck. Its simple, customizable, and it functions without fail. The App from pioneer has been updated and it completely functions correctly every time I fire it up. My only three complaints and for me they're big ones. 1. No pause button on the face. I am not always in the app to be able to pause whatever I am streaming so a pause button would have been a great feature. 2. The usb port is on the left side and the phone holder swivels to the left making it completely useless for short cables like 6". In the flat position you have to have the screen upside down to charge it and if you want to rotate you have to remove the phone, turn the head, and put it back in the holder. Annoying 3. IT IS NOT FAST CHARGE COMPATIBLE. I have an android PH-1 and it will not fast charge no matter what cable I use. That all said I still love this deck and paired with some quality speakers the sound is awesome.

Updated: Wonderful but only without the app
Update 8.10.21 - I wanted to circle back around on this and change my review as I found the stereo does not need the app to function. You might need the app to get it set up, but you can delete after that considering if you do have the app installed you have to wait for this really archaic connection process. Get the app and set your sound balance etc, then just delete and use via bluetooth. Now it's the best radio I've ever had in car, I just don't use most of the buttons on the face except for next/back and volume. The app really, really, really is awful, but the radio does the trick and you can connect to steering wheel control. 4 stars because it's too expensive for what it is. I'd still get it, especially now knowing that you're not trapped in the app. Old review from when I was pissed: Software ruins customer experience, and is required to run the unit. Excellent physical execution, having the mount is fantastic, but the good times stop there. Tidy IOS and software updates is my MO, you can see the app is weak, and effectively does not provide value outside of initiating safety features which subsequently render the unit useless, most of the time. When you turn on the car the unit kicks on and the app will halt whatever you are doing to begin connection phase, however that phase is automatically initiated so you wait for the app to sometimes go into car mode, which is limited in itself. I just want a bluetooth car radio with a decent mount, and this hot garbage is the closest I could find. I soundly do not recommend as every time I get in to do an errand I spend more time trying to get the radio going than is reasonable, I want Pioneer to swap me out for some other basic, but when I contacted customer service there was not even a response, automated or human. Double foul.

Better than a double din radio and less expensive.
The SPH10BT is an excellent radio. Shipment was fast, I just finished installing it this week on my Mazda5. I bought the wire harness from Crutchfield. On its own, without connecting my phone as a screen, the radio functions perfectly well. I was surprised by how much better the radio sounded. The built in EQ adjustment and presets are great. I did install and connect it with Pioneer's backup sensors and it works great. I very much prefer this than paying for a lower quality screen radio console. It makes sense to use our phone's high quality screen. The RGB theme lighting is cool and beautiful as well. I just hope the springs and rubber on the phone holder will last a long time. I'll definitely try to be careful with it.

Good enough
I think for the money is a decent choice. The sound is good and the features are good but is not quite intuitive, so it takes some poking around (if you don't like to read the manual) to know your way around the features. I won't give 5 stars because the connectivity is not as reliable as I'd like to, and I have not found a way to automatically connect to my phone. It says it will, I have the option ON, but it does not, you must press "allow" every single time, and also "ok" on the mandatory warning that you should not watch the screen while driving. I have seen many complains about no mute button, and let me tell you all, there IS an option for it. Just hold down the low volume for 3 seconds, and it will mute by default. this option can be changed to Attenuate if you prefer to, but the unit does have the choice. Bottom line, If all you need is bluetooth connectivity and are on a budget, it's a decent choice.
