The Classic Whiz Wheel
I picked up this version of the E6B mostly due to it being a reasonable price compared to the aluminum variants. The card stock it is made of is well made and feels durable. The print is clear and easily readable. The wind correction side works great with #2 pencil and a block eraser. If you are gentle on the things you own, this EB6 is probably all you need. If you are a bit more rough on things, the aluminum one might be what you need.

Good value for money
Still works great after a year. Made from thick sturdy cardboard and measurements are accurate.

Accurate and Functional Inexpensive E6B Flight Computer
The calibrations appear to be both accurate and precise (I have verified with some hand calculations) which is of course the main purpose of the E6B. The included instructions booklet has been very helpful in learning how to use the device. It uses photographs of the device in action to explain how to do the calculations. I found the organization of the manual to be easy to follow; similar calculations are grouped together. The one downside to this product is the plastic case that it came in is a little more flimsy than I expected, and the device itself, being made of cardboard, would probably not hold up to rough handling. It could easily be bent and I suspect the central wheel would come off the grommet with a good tug. However, with reasonable care and proper handling, I expect it to perform the job of flight calculations. I will likely keep it in a more sturdy case, such as a pencil box. Given the inexpensive price, I think it was worth the money and met my expectations based on the product description.

Great value for the money.
For the money, this is a great little E6-B. It's surprisingly sturdy and works well. Great size for transport. The only thing I did not like is the numbers and scales on the inner dial windows are small and hard to do real acurate density altitude computations.

... to start my flight training and have been very happy with it
I ordered this to start my flight training and have been very happy with it. The quality is very good, considering its made of cardboard it is not sloppy for either of the moving elements. I would by this one again if on a budget, and who isn't if your trying to learn to fly!

Much nicer than expected
It’s made of thick cardboard, cardstock, and some plastic. Print quality is excellent. Seems to have some sort of coating so I think durability will be good. The edges are exposed so I would not get it wet. It comes in a clear plastic sleeve with a small instruction booklet. I think it would be a good value if priced at $9.
