Fidget Pad > cheap Fidget Cubes
-----This review is for the black 'fidget pad' that resembles a contact lens case.-----I have a cheap fidget cube and wanted to try other products in pursuit of a more satisfying experience.This one blew me away right out of the box. First of all, it's not a blatant ripoff of the original cube that was on Kickstarter (to the best of my knowledge, anyway). So bonus points for originality, if that is in fact the case.The plastic has a slightly rubberized/matte finish that's nice to touch. The wrist strap is a nice addition but I'm not sure I'll use it.The BEST part though is the quality of the fidgeting mechanisms. Unlike the cheap cubes, two of the buttons ARE ACTUALLY SILENT as they're intended to be. Another neat feature is a spring-loaded slider...kind of hard to explain but there's a small tab that you can slide but as soon as you release it it SNAPS back into its starting position. Very cool idea and good implementation. I don't find the joystick to be as satisfying, in terms of build quality, but there's nothing wrong with it.My single favorite feature is the smooth roller along one of the sides. It's got a little resistance to it and it shows that someone cared enough to try to make the experience enjoyable--it rolls smoothly but takes a little bit of pressure to get it to start rolling. I wish I knew more about machining so I could describe it better, but the rolling mechanism feels pretty substantial and not cheap.This could be an amazing product if it was weighted heavier and a little more quiet. But I'm very happy with it as it is.

Inexpensive durable fidget dice.
Inexpensive. Durable. Arrived quickly. Was a stocking stuffer for my husband who has ADD. He loved it! It keeps his fingers busy when he's having trouble sitting still & concentrating. I'm happy with my purchase. Would definitely buy again if needed. Thank you!

After reading a good review for the Fidget Pad (not the dice!!), I figured I'd give it a go, and it's amazing. Definitely well thought out and made with fidgeters in mind. My favorite is the silent rolling thing on the side as well as the spinning pad on the underside. Nice packaging, arrived in a timely manner.

Easier to carry wherever you go.
I love this fidget toy. It better conforms to a person's hand while using. I feel that this is better shaped for carrying on your person than the cube style fidget toy.
