IRWIN Screw Guide Driver, MULTI-BIT W/DRIVE SLEEVE - 1948776

I liked the first one I bought so much that I bought another one - I'm a big fan of "tasked" tool boxes, in which the contents of the box are chosen with an eye towards the purpose of the box (I have a drywall box, and a plumbing box, and an electrical box, and so on.) I also have a general toolbox. The first one went in my workshop; the second, in my general toolbox so I don't have to keep running out to my workshop to get a good ratcheting screwdriver.

This is one of the best screwdrivers I have ever used. The design-build is superb. The handle grip is super comfortable and the quick bit change a time saver. The Phillips bits have worked very well for me without any problems. Despite its 8-in-1 capability, the screwdriver is quite compact compared to other screwdrivers in the same category making it easy to carry, store and work with. I like the fact that all its bits and attchments fit within the screwdriver body. No extra items to carry other than the screwdriver hence less likely to lose bits. Its ratcheting function has a sleek non-intrusive design that works as expected. Well done Irwin.

Got all kinds of tools but when you need a one certain tool and don't have it and makes job harder. It extends long enough to reach and magnetic tip makes job easier.

I’m always interested in ratcheting screwdrivers and I’m always disappointed. I’m pretty disappointed here too but not because of the build quality. The product is excellent. I’ve just never found a situation where I thought, “I’m sure glad my screwdriver is ratcheting right now.” Most of the time I don’t or can’t use the ratcheting feature. Oh well. The good new is that you have several screwdriver bits ready to go in this one tool. It’s good for situations where you want options and don’t mind added weight. I bought one for my drawer at home and one for my brother in law who needed some tools of his own.

Use this everyday. Very sturdy even when extended. Great nut driver I highly recommend.Only complaint is I do not use the bits it came with I use the set from my old driver. I wish this one came with a holder for the bits so they're not just rolling around in my box.

This is another great tool from Irwin, I think they hold the top spot for hand tool makers in my book now, and this ratcheting 10-in-1 (whatever number they use) is another great design. I'm an electrician and I really need all 3 nut drivers (1/4, 5/16 and 3/8) to be worth carrying it. This thing is heavier than most, which is a downside as I got it to carry on my pocket all day, but, not so heavy that is go back to my Milwaukee (which is still a quality tool). I didn't really need ratcheting, but this was the only Irwin I saw with everything I did need, and I like that the ratchet selector is well designed so you doesn't flip accidentally. The build quality feels far superior and the steel is thicker, I was actually using it, without the bit, to pry loose a rusted handle and it is sturdy. This is the third time their design has far outclassed everything else I've ever used. I will be looking to replace all my tools with Irwin from now on.

Love this tool it's my go-to hand tool! I did swap out the torque bits as in my line of work I hardly ever use them. But the ratchet is quick and a quick flick of my thumb to change direction. The fatter handle fits in my hand for a good secure grip. Working maintenance department for a large apartment complex for the last 15 years. Tools take a beating and having a backup is a good idea. My original has been a punch for trim nails, prybar for removing garbage disposal, tapped on a rusted nut behind an ac compressor. Pretty much any type of abuse you can think of I've done to it and it's still working strong. Can't say that about others I've had. ( I do not recommend abuse to your tools, just at times you have to improvise.)

Nothing but Pros with this 6-in-1 Nut Driver, its simply amazing... BUT... And yes the reason I give it 3 stars because this is just beyond ridiculous.. It doesn't have a magnet build into it. Which makes it almost non usable for me... I hate working and having to drop everything I'm doing to use both hands to make sure the bolt doesn't drop on the floor or into a panel that might blow up if it drops into it. Seriously, its incredibly disappointing. Everything else about this Nut Driver is PERFECT, I just can't believe it isn't magnetized, it totally ruins it for me. Giving it 3 stars because of all the Pros, its just too bad the one negative is a BIG one for me. Just my own personal rating, maybe its not a big deal for other trades. But yeah for the electrical trade (and I'd assume for all other trades), having a magnet that holds the bolt on the driver is a necessity for a lot of scenarios.

Compre este desarmador para hacer instalaciones de equipos que van atornillados en areas de dificil acceso para otro tipo de desarmadores. Me funciono perfectamente y la capacidad de extension es suficiente para la mayoria de mis tareas. La calidad es excelente. El sistema de bloqueo para la extension es muy bueno para ejercer una presion moderada para atornillar correctamente, lo unico que podría extrañar de otros desarmadores es que no tiene el sistema de matraca, pero el mango de sujeccion es excelente y no se pierde torque. Lo volveria a comprar sin dudarlo.PROS: Extensible, Mango con excelente sujección, Puntas basicas pero es compatible con puntas de otras marcas. Calidad insuperable.CONS: No tiene sistema de matraca, quiza solo es por costumbre de la herramienta que utilizo.

This Irwin Extending screwdriver is a brilliant, comes with five bits or screwdriver tips, really simple to use and a very functional tool but I am lost as to why (as I write) in all buying options it comes from the States. The UK prices I looked at on-line veered from around the fifteen pounds mark to over twenty (!) plus postage! - but I kept looking at this on my Amazon ‘wish list’ and when I first looked, it was bordering on the twenty pounds mark but then it came down and with postage, I bought it for less than twelve pounds (January 2020). True this order came from the States but full marks to Amazon that the delivery came nearly a week before the end delivery time quoted. In use, it’s amazing and how did I ever manage before as this basically replaces having four or five different length screwdrivers in your tool box. But if I hear again somebody ask ‘Where did you get that from?’ when I use it, I think I ought to be asking Irwin for commission in promoting their tools! 5 BIG stars easy
