Promaster SystemPro Portable Shooting Kit

It is good equipment. Problem is lack of documentation. I have needed to find my own way in lighting, and I don't know anything about that art. Also, all the packaging had been opened, which indicates strong probability that it was a resale item.

I purchased the kit at a local camera store, (same one as seen here). I plan to return it. I do not feel the two lights create enough light, more would need to be purchased. No information came with the kit I purchased, so I do not know anything about the two lights. The box just states, "high intensity quartz". Yes,, I know such shooting will be done with the camera on a tripod, so therefore shutter speed isn't such a big factor, but I still think I shouldn't have to use such a slow shutter speed in the first place. It just seems that additonal lights need to be purchased and I don't like being mislead like that.
