Wonderful novel of Innocent Love
A wonderful Ancient novel of innocent love set in a Neoplatonic setting.Longus may be the most well-structure and delightful of the ancient greek novels. well worth the readHenderson's text is eclectic but his decisions do make the greek more readable than any other with perhaps the exception of the Bude and Teubner. And Henderson's translation is very readable, although if your own greek is good, you will prefer that to any translator

Excellent book, I could read the greek font easily
Excellent book, I could read the greek font easily, the greek vocabulary was not extensive, and the story line was intriguing...It helped me understand the thoughts, ideals, and ideas of the greeks at about the third century.
