With the right diameter scrap of copper tubing, you can jam it into the brake bleeder nipple on this hose and use it to suck gear oil, power steering fluid, coolant. Now that I have this longer hose I can keep the vaccum tank on the floor and have both hands free while I use my copper wand to evacuate brake fluid, etc.If I had a lift, of course, this would be great for bleeding brakes, too.

fitting will not fit on my Vacula-18-0051 brake bleeder
The fitting will not fit on the Vacula bleeder so I had to pull mine off and put it on this hose. As for the hose I knew it was not Clear, But tried it anyway it is hard to see the air in the line with this hose. So in the end I paid all this money for the end that goes on the bleeder and that is what I needed. I wish you could just buy that end.
