Wouldn't use any other line. Holds knots & withstands abrasion. I use 8 lb. test Yo-Zuri for steelhead on the Main Salmon River.

Very disappointed
Line was apparently old and extremely brittle. Have used Yozuri Hybrid in the past with great success. Very disappointed in this spool!!

Not good on Baitcaster reels!
I bought this to use on some of my Baitcasting reels. It spools up nice and is smooth. Appears to have good abrasion resistence....BUT, It has a terrible memory issue. When casting a baitcasting reel the line should come off the reel straight and smooth. NOT this stuff! It coils up just like it is on the spool and never straightens out. It may work well on open-face and spin cast reels (I doubt it) but it isn't worth 15 cents for a baitcaster. It has more memory than Monofilament line!

Using this as my leader material, got a great deal on the 25lb spool and it will last me a while. Great knot strength and minimal stretch.
