Bought this for my wife and she loved it. I installed it on a tree trunk just off our deck and the size is nice. Large enough to see. Fun to watch the gnome step out from the tree and seemingly step forward. Can image there are more coming behind this guy. Fun gift that installed with just one nail and the metal gate can really swing back and forth. Easy to put up and should last for years! Go gnomes!

I have built a large and very long, pressure treated 4"x 4" wood post 2-tiered wall garden in the front of my property. Each wall is built by stacking 4" x 4" pressure treated posts on top of each other. Each wall of the 2-tiered garden is approximately 2.5 feet tall and approximately 3 feet deep because of the grade to the property. So, I have attached the "Bits and Pieces - Emerging Elf Tree Hanger" on the wall of the upper tier of my garden so it looks like the little elf lives behind the tiered walls and under my garden. It is hard to explain but when you see my garden, it is very eye-catching, I notice people doing the double take, stopping and smiling as they look at the elf in my garden. I have had a lot of really nice compliments about my garden and the little elf...I just bought 2 more Emerging Elf Tree Hangers because my garden is so long and tall and will handle another 2 easily, 1 at each end of my garden on the tiered walls.
