Protects Your Plants
This is the second time I have purchased this insecticidal soap. It seems to work pretty good. So far no bugs. I have tons of plants everywhere in my house. I am a huge plant lover. Some plants are pricey. So I can't take a chance of letting anything into my group to start trouble for me, or them. What I do is whenever a new student comes into the house. I first sequester it by placing it in the bathtub for a few hours to get occolated to the new surroundings and temperature. Than I give it a good spray. Just don't overdo it and make sure not to spray too close. Let it dry real good than I let it sit there a few days. Than it joins its long awaited place amongst the other potted beauties. To get loved and doted on. As a precaution once a week for a few weeks I bring it back to the tub for a quick spritz. So far I've done well with this product.I also use it in the summertime to kill the gnats that I see occassionally gathering around my kitchen garbage can. I only spray it into the can (Not the walls or floors). It works very well on that too.

Best insecticide soap I've found
I've used this insecticide to treat a mealy bug infestation on my large indoor plant collection. It has been very effective at controlling the infestation while I wait for the systemic that I applied to take effect. It is a contact spray, so it will only kill the insects it touches, so you'll need to make sure you spray every surface of the plant. Reapplication is also necessary to treat the full life cycle because this does not kill the eggs. It is effective when used properly and does not damage your plants or make them susceptible to sun damage like some other sprays.

Follow the Directions - Used for Spider Mites on Bonsai
Been an avid gardener for decades, first time I've ever used a pesticide. I was in a panic because my bonsai trees caught spider mites from a new specimen, bonsai shop recommended this product (shout out to Bonsai West in Littleton, MA!). I followed the directions: I used this in the shade and kept my plants out of direct sunlight and rain for a couple of days; I thoroughly wetted the entire plant including the undersides until it started dripping. I tested it first on one branch of one plant and waited a couple of days before using it on everything. Some people said their plants died after using this, I suspect they used it in the sun or the plants died of the bugs because they didn't use enough of the product. In a setting with plants planted in the ground, I'd wait for a cloudy day, or do it in the evening so it dries before sun hits the leaves. Don't let the rain wash it off for a few days. I wore gloves when I used it, and I used it in the parking lot away from friendly insects; I don't love the thought of pesticide and would never want to endanger all the wonderful creatures who live in my little garden (Mr. Toad, praying mantis, native bees, etc). It's been a week and no more spider mites; directions said you may need to hit it again in a couple of weeks (presumably because so many pests are pesticide resistant now) I'm keeping an eye on it. I used this on the following, all doing just fine and happy to be free of pests: cotoneaster, Japanese maple, Chinese elm, flowing Quince. My junipers and pines did not get the spider mites so I don't know how this product affects them. Lesson learned: if you get a new bonsai, keep it away from the rest of your collection until you know it is healthy!

Did what I needed it to do!
It did a fantastic job eliminating scale from my orchids. I have 12 orchids, that all had scale. I used it and it eliminated scale from all but one plant. Which I treated a second time and so far so good. Easy to use. The plants are doing very well now. Smell is ok, not horrific like some. I used gloves to be careful not to get it on my skin.

It doesn't work as expected
I didn't work after first use at all, and after second one. I don't know how many times I should have used before I could see some result, but seems like it burned leaves on some flowers.
