Fabulous product to solve problems with poorly designed wood rail beds!
Our queen size bed frame looks much like the one in the product picture. I was hobbling along with some wood blocks under the center of the box spring for a long time, but when we moved to a new home with a higher pile carpet, that wasn't cutting it any more, our mattress started sagging something fierce. Ouch - my back was killing me!I order up one of these and installed it in about 30 minutes. The instructions leave something to be desired, but it's relatively intuitive just by looking at the parts for a minute. Solid materials and construction, designed to fit bed frames similar in style to the one in the product picture; aside from that it's adjustable to any bed width/height.With these rails installed on our wood rail bedframe, our mattress is now lying perfectly flat. We started sleeping better immediately, and the backaches are gone. Thanks Mantua!!

my old support system was wood slates (I moved & lost the middle support adjusters) that worked great til I misplaced them
This is just what I needed!!...my old support system was wood slates (I moved & lost the middle support adjusters) that worked great til I misplaced them. So in searching for a replacement I came across this one on Amazon and boy was it right on the money!...Much support for my queen pillow top bed and very sturdy & adjustable for multiple bed heights (and my bed is pretty high & I think the extra adjusters are like 15 bucks its worth getting).Simple to put together (directions that came with it sucked) but you can basically put it together by playing around with it. This frame is great and after looking around at bedding stores ( I wont name any here but u know the big chains) and seeing them priced at 150-225 for something that probably isn't as good as this, I must say the quality mos def out weighted the price (which was under 80 bucks!)...Thanks Amazon!!

Extremely disappointed
My experience with this support system is pretty unfortunate. The actual rails fit fine, but the adjustable glides are a nightmare. They are not secure, and do not hold for more than a few nights before they bend and ultimately make a huge cracking sound as they come apart, one at a time. I followed the instructions properly, my they don't even feel secure in the rails. I'm not sure if I received a defective product, or the quality is just this poor.I see a lot of positive reviews, which is why I bought this, but this is my experience and I figured I'd share.

Does the job, but be warned.
We received this item last night. While the box was a little beat up, all the items inside were in good condition. Positives: This support system comes with several pieces to work with several heights and widths, meaning we have the potential to use it with a different frame in the future. There are extra pieces to be paired with a range of heights listed in the description, and it easy to put together. It serves its purpose perfectly. Our wooden slates for our queen weren't strong enough and ended up bowing, causing a sagging mattress. This is the perfect way to use a metal support system without being able to actually use a traditional metal frame. Negatives: The two pre-cut holes (one small one on the top left and one big one dead center) in the metal support arms weren't described on the site and might not work for all. The wooden cleats on our frame that the metal system attaches to are an inch wide (pretty standard for wood frames). The way the big center hole is drilled, it doesn't leave enough wooden cleat the attach to via the provided wood screw, forcing you to use the smaller predrilled hole on the top left. This top left hole was so flush with the wood side rails, that we could barely get a screwdriver (definitely not a DeWalt cordless drill) to tighten the screws. As a result, we ended up stripping one screw. This could have been avoided if we could have drilled a pilot hole had the drill fit flush, or the hole been in a better location.Overall, it does exactly the job it's suppose to, and I can see it holding up for an eternity. I wish there was better set up for the pre-drilled holes. Others might not have an issue. Glad we have a better support system for our expensive mattress (and box spring) to sit on.

These slats work great for us!
Our bed frame has wood head and footboards with metal wood-look side rails. One of our original steel slats broke many years ago, so we were using wood boards, until two recently fell down.We attached these to the metal rails with Velcro, and the bed seems firmer. Fixed our problem.

Good Product - Sub-Standard Packaging and Delivery
This is a decent product, and performs as expected. That being said, I have a few complaints. First, the product (ordered via Prime) arrived on a Monday, not the promised Friday, which meant the help I had arranged for the weekend (to move the mattress and box springs around) needed to be rescheduled. Second, the box arrived encased in packaging tape, with a new label, a clear indication the box had disintegrated during shipment, which probably explains UPS's delivery delay. Third, the disintegrated package arrived missing almost all of the wood screws provided for installation. Not a big deal, until you realize those screws are difficult to replace, having the very wide pan head necessary to hold down the big hole in the cross-brace. I ended up having to use a washer, which made the screw head projection higher than I wanted. We'll see if it works. On the plus side, it's easy to install this product, it's pretty solid-looking, and it comes with all manner of parts for height adjustment from as low as 6" to what looks like around 14" (height from floor of bottom of box spring). I just wish they'd paid more attention to the details.

A little wobbly when using the full height extensions but overall good product
Overall this worked well for us and fixed our issue with our king size bed. We only needed the three slats that it came with. My only issue is when using the height extenders they kind of just lay in there loosely which made me a little uncomfortable. I used gorilla glue just for my own peice of mind. We have used them for a month and so far no issues. Bed seems sturdy and doesn't creak. Perfect for what we needed it for and I felt the price was fair.
