Q: Does it come with a mouthpiece And reeds?

2 crummy reeds and 1 crummy mouthpiece. Its a decent horn but almost all new horns come with crummy mouthpieces and reeds. There are so many personal preferences with regard to mouthpieces and reeds it does not make sense for horn manufacturers (especially on budget horns) to invest much in these items. There are exceptions (Kessler custom winds for example) but in most cases you will buy aftermarket reeds and mouthpieces.

Q: Is this really shipped with a canvas case? (bad idea, doesn't protect a horn enough).

Its a nylon covered "hard case"...does the job nicely
