The pack I purchased had a mixture of different fabrics - silk/satin; polyester; and a terry cloth blend. They are very soft and gentle on the hair, but the elastic allows for a firm ponytail holder. Hope this helps!

Does it suit long thick hair?

100% Yes! I have long, think and curly hair. Never used a scrunchie before and wondered the same thing myself. This works much, much better than a covered rubberband and easier on my hair too. Highly recommend.

Do these leave a mark in your hair? Do they have elastic in them?

Yes they have an elastic surrounded by cloth. They do not leave a mark in my hair unless I leave it up all day. For a few hours it is fine. I have very thick hair.

This black ribbed scrunchie instantly became my favorite accessory. I’ve worn it constantly, and it’s held up beautifully without stretching out or losing its shape.
