This table is perfect for a sewing table. With 3 drawers and a shelf everything is in easy reach. Cords are managed via a hole they thread through and keeps them contained and out of the way. Table is perfect size and fits easy in small spaces and is easily put together. This table is very sturdy and is priced very well. I recommend this product.

Table assembles quickly with one person. Have not put my sewing machine on it yet. Box was pretty beat up upon delivery and found damage when it was half-assembled. The table is packed in a ton of styrofoam that crumbles easily and I didn’t catch it.

As far as assembly, and expectations: Assembly was a breeze. The instructions were simple and had plenty of pictures. The parts are all organized and numbered. The table feels solid the feet are adjustable to stop any wobbling. If i had any request for the company, rubber or plastic stoppers for the draws instead of screws which can scratch the powder coating on the draws with the threads. And although every machine is different maybe a few rubber washer options to make the lift more flush with the table for those that feel its a must. Still, those are personal recommendations. I would approve of this table as a laptop table for sure, but not to do you the reader a disservice, the machine is new and untested as well, so as a sewing table you’ll have to wait for me to update my review. This is a heavy piece of furniture, and I had to open the box, and take about three or four trips with the parts, in order to get the all upstairs. Assembly is not difficult, but you need to follow the directions carefully. Just take your time, and study the directions. If you have never assembled furniture like this, it could be tough. I had recently assembled a desk and a coffee table, and I left this one for last, as I knew it was most complex. While they include a small wrench, you will also need a medium Phillips head screwdriver. I recommend you do the construction exactly where it will be placed, or very close. I was able to turn over the entire piece myself, but I was on carpeting, and that helps. The one real downside I have come across is that the bottom panel covers too much floorspace, where you would normally place the foot control. Apparently the designer didn't consult many women, maybe just one, as to where they liked the foot control. Annoying, and I'd have given it five stars otherwise, because it's well designed. The way the panel for the lowering and raising the machine is wonderfully easy, especially if you have to this regularly, as in quilting. I'm glad I purchased it, worth the price.

Some said that the machine tray is difficult to adjust. I suspect that’s due to how the buyer assembled it. Speaking of assembly, it was straight forward. What’s hard? Inventory the parts, keep the little pieces in their bags to avoid confusion, then follow the directions. The diagrams were clear. I only needed help turning it over.

The table seems sturdy and assembly was straightforward. However, when I got to the last assembly step which is to insert the mesh drawers, I found that the right hand track on the bottom two drawers was curved outward and the drawers would not slide without using some force. The metal tracks are sturdy and impossible to tweak back to the proper alignment. I reached out to Studio Designs by filling out their online damage form, and after no response I tried calling the product support number. I left a message and have since called 4 more times only to get the same voicemail recording promising a prompt response. Don’t expect any customer support if you have any problems with this table!

I had been looking for a sewing table where I could leave my sewing machine out and ready to go at any time. This table is outstanding in every way. Very sturdy, easy to assemble and it looks good as well. Also has plenty of drawers for storing all my sewing supplies. Absolutely love this table and recommend it highly.

I put it together myself in a few hours. (female age 72) Took my time to get familiar with assembly instructions and parts. Haven’t used it yet but seems very sturdy. So far so good!
