New style works better than old
This is my second order. I'm much happier with my second order and it works. I was very happy with this new "model." It had a different grey instead of gold screw on base. I hooked it up to the faucet and didn't need a clamp and nothing burst. This hose adapter is very easy to use. You just screw it on the end of the hose and slip the "sleeve" over your faucet spout. Do NOT turn the water on high. You'll want a slower flow. This isn't great for car washes, but I use it to fill up the RV tank from my kitchen or bathroom faucet and it works for that. This is a useful product and it's handy to have around if you have a camper. (I had one before and like other people experienced, it exploded and cracked. I was able to use a small ring clamp to wear it out to the end and still use it until I lost it. It did help me use a hose on my wonky faucet with an abnormal spout. I haven't had any problems with the most recent one I ordered.)

Very happy custormer!
Very very useful tool! Ive been using it commercially for the past 3 or 4 years and it has never let me down. No issues with bulging, popping, leaking, or having it get hard over time. Its still as pliable as the day it arrived which seems to be too much to ask for these days.

This is barely ok, and even that doesn't last
I bought this for the same reason as one of the previous reviewers, to attach a short outdoor hose to my deep sink faucet so I can wash my dog with warm water outside. That reviewer was basically happy with how it functioned, but I'm not personally . The item itself seems well made and useful, but it constantly pops off the deep sink faucet once the water is on. You have to keep the water at barely over a trickle, or.the pressure blam it off, forcing you to go replace it in the middle of washing the dog. I've made great effort to seat the sleeve deeply, and be super conscious that there's no restriction to flow -- for example, using the spray head was quickly out of the question. So when it's actually working, I just have a very tiny stream of water, no spray head, and certainly no pressure. It does function, so that's better than nothing, but only barely. A side note -- the categories for stars are "Durability", "Lightweight" and "Value for Money". They have little to do with the actual ability to use the thing. I only responded to "Value for Money" and gave it two stars. Revised: It's now a month later, and after 1x daily use, it's not working at all. Just pops off immediately, even with all above tricks used. Now one star, would be zero if possible.

Works. Good value for the price.
Threw out the plastic clip it came with and opted for an aluminum hose clamp instead; allowing for smaller spigot accomodations. Threads are plastic, which isn't ideal, but there are ridges on the inside of its rubber piece that help with gripping of various pipe sizes. I tried it out on a pretty small, unthreaded spigot at a campground recently and did not think it would work out, but the Bandit held on strong and didn't let go til I said. No leaks or anything. So I am, so far, pretty pleased.

HG product for us
Holy grail product for our family. I like to connect a hose to our main sink to give our kids warm water in the kiddie pool. Unfortunately, our current sink is a pull down and the attachment (after you unscrew the head) doesn’t allow for a hose to be set up. I found this nifty tool and added a clasp to it for our sink and it works PERFECTLY! I am beyond excited I found this! Highly recommend for any faucet or bald hose to attach a hose.

It works for some faucets. Just not most of them.
This comes with a plastic hose clamp that doesn't perform it's function. Get a real one. Also, if your faucet isn't flared it probably won't hold.

Super handy!
I bought this because the threads on my dehumidifier were wacky and I couldn't thread a hose on properly. This works perfect, just screw onto the hose then push the silicone end onto the dehumid outlet threads. Install took all of about 30 seconds.

Worth every penny. Great thing to have in your RV
Saved me a few times where my hose couldn't connect to the spigot. So far it is holding up. Cheap and could be the reason you have fresh water in your RV :)
