Fuzztones: In Fuzz We / Various

Must say that this is definitely a darn good, title - for a various artists / tribute CD that is. Well assembled disc - featuring long-established bands playing covers by the Fuzztones. I was not sure as to just how much -original- material the Fuzztones had ever released. As a good most of us fully realize they're know for playing plenty of covers. Here, on 'In Fuzz We Trust', you get a healthy dose of faithfully-played covers by the likes of Davie Allen & The Arrows, Shadows Of Knight (2 songs), Sky Saxon (The Seeds), Plasticland with the Pretty Things, Gonn (2 songs), The Monks, Electric Prunes with Love's Arthur Lee, Strawberry Alarm Clock and ? And The Mysterians. Housed in a digi-pack + accompanied with an irreplaceable 16-page CD booklet. Highly recommended.

This a great cover album, with various artists participating in a tribute to the FUZZTONES. The Electric Prunes featuring Sean Bonniwell from the music machine, doing All the Kings Horses, is classic.A must have for any true collector of rare music.

Great CD !

Reminds me of a German label great compilation of bands covering the Monks. Some of the album is worth a second listen. The Pretty Things doing Ward 81 caught my ear as did Gonn with Shame On You. Fun rocking album from the past.
