Acrylic Case for Raspberry Pi 3+B, 9-Layer Case with Fan, Black&Clear

This is an excellent case , as described and eventually received. A minor complaint - basic assembly instructions would have been useful, including showing that the copper heatsink fits on the underside of the PCB.Warning: Amazon has been distributing the incorrect model of this case, i.e. one to fit the Pi 4B only, hence the poor run of reviews. As I could compare compatibility of fit of a Pi 4B against Pi 2B. 3B & 3B+, it was clear that something was wrong with the cases as originally supplied. These could have been made to fit a Pi 4B only after a considerable amount of butchery. After discussion with GeeekPi, the purchase was refunded and the correct items supplied - an honest and honourable result. It seems most likely that the cases supplied in bulk by GeeekPi have been wrongly labelled by Amazon for distribution.

After two attempts of putting this together it looks amazing. I did have to look up the gpro pins for the fan and I put one of the sections on incorrectly but once I fixed it the case just looks so nice.

It's a fantastic looking case. However, it doesn't come with instructions telling you how to position and add the heatsinks. E.g the copper one is meant to go on the underside of the board. Luckily I read the other comments while assembling it and used the photos for reference.The fan is rather quiet and needs to be plugged in on the same line for it to work.

A very strong and sturdy case for the Pi.I'm currently working on an arcade project so needed something with a fan to prevent the pi from over heating.So far so good,Couple of pointers though, the instructions regarding connecting the fan are incorrect, do a little research regarding which pins to put the fan onto.This comes in layers, unbolt the case and layer the pieces together with the pit inside....but take a few pictures before you start do you can remember which layer goes where otherwise there's a bit of trial and error to get this back together the correct way.

Looks good, easy to assemble and good for cooling the Pi. Can mount GPIO cable in case

The method used to manufacture it makes it a bit fiddly to assemble and it's worth knowing that some of the layers that form the case need to be placed before attaching the fan to the pi. The heat sinks seem to work and the fan is quiet. The included screwdriver is handy but some captive nuts in the bottom layer would make it a bit easier to assemble. There's no room to Mount the pi camera module but there is a slot to pass the ribbon through.

This has not been a good expeience for me. What screwdriver? What heatsink? I really wanted this case. Ok, it's cheap so cant be bothered with the hassle of a return. Something perhaps the seller relies on. I put it together with reasonable ease, despite the lack of instruction. Once assembled, I noticed that the construction put to much strain on the usb-c connector of my pi 3+ model B, especiallt at the bottom, so i wont be using it. I will look to see if there is a possibility of putting shims in but I don't think it will work. Again, sold with parts missing, I accept mistakes can be made but ill look elsewhere.

Most of the par was missing when it arrived. They made an effort to fix this. Even the communication was not easy (I was busy). Change this to five stars because it's a good product, and they are doing their best.
