No straw to direct spray. Otherwises typical graphite lubricant
Five star cause yea it works and its cheapest per ounce I found. I used it on both some old double hung windows and on some sliding aluminum windows. Actually works pretty well on the aluminum windows. They are the sliding kind without rollers on the bottom track, so lot friction. No idea how often I will have to reapply. Didnt work as well on the double hung, but think bit improvement. Oh I also used it on some of those Frostking expanding universal window screens, made them open and close much easier. Yes its dark color (graphite) so will overspray where you dont want it unless you mask to confine spray to where you want it. I wasnt too worried so didnt bother. It does go on wet/sticky but dries very quickly. Its pretty much like the tiny cans for locks. Oddly they dont include a straw. This literally be lifetime supply for locks. But yea really needs a straw included.

Crown dry graphite spray is the bees knees!!
This graphite spray silenced the groaning door hinges on my 1993 GMC K-1500 door hinges. Better yet, I sprayed it on the notoriously "creaky" 33 year old coil springs on the hood. And, WaLah, no more groaning! Better aim it EXACTLY where you want it the first time! It is near impossible to remove.

Great product but needs a tweak to be perfect.
This seems to work well, but, like others have said, it comes without a straw which knocks a star off for me. However, if you want to add a straw, remove the small inner black insert in the nozzle with a small drill bit. A straw will fit in the hole that the removable insert leaves in the nozzle. Once a straw is added, this is a five star product and great for lubricating key slots and other needed places without the crazy over-spray. Problem solved.

So far so good.
Did what it was supposed to do. I checked online for the best way to lubricate the damper on our fireplace, read about the dry graphite lube being the best option and it worked

great stuff
used for automatic running boards that are always getting dirty. Very sticky and left a mark on the black but no more sound at all from them opening and closing all the time
