This flashlight is very well built. It is made from a sturdy metal, and feels significant when being carried, but not heavier than it should be. It has prongs on the front and the back, which I imagine could be used to break glass in an emergency.It's easy to turn this torch on with the button on the rear, and change the modes with the button near the front. You can hold down the button to go straight to turbo mode, and press it twice to quickly go to strobe mode, which could be used for self defence to blind someone trying to attack you.I found when walking by the river that I could easily shine the light across the river into the bushes and see everything, including some ducks that I could not see otherwise.It's a welcome feature that this flashlight can be charged by USB, as I don't like to have custom power chargers that get lost and take up space. I can charge this with any charger that could charge my smartphone.I understand that this flashlight is waterproof, but I did not test this out.It's also welcome that it comes with a branded 18650 battery, as it can be hard to find a reliable battery that actually has the stated capacity.Overall it's a great flashlight.

This torch has beaten all expectations. Great power, very robust and durable. good battery life. I've since bought three in total.

excellent torch, use daily at work and has stood up to the harsh environment so far. Its expensive, but worth it if you require a torch for work etc...

if you're looking for a sml/m size torch of outstanding build quality packed with all the illumination features you likely to need, this torch should be part of your consideration. On the down side.. more expensive than similar products; that said i have no experience of the reliability or build quality of my other brand considerations.

good item, battery last long

This is kind of how it went when I first tried this torch:Turn on click: yep, that helpful ultra low setting...2nd click: brightness ramps up a bit3rd click: yep, a bit more4th click: that looks a lot like my other 900 lumen torches...nice throw too5th click: ... ...good god...It was pretty amazing how bright it went on the highest setting using the included 3500 mAh battery (once charged). My 16 yo son, who is in the habit of being unimpressed with things that I find impressive, tried his darnedest to downplay the torch on high when we went out at night to test it out; all he could manage was 'holy crap'.So why only 4 stars? It is only slightly short of being a perfect example of a torch of its kind and size, except for a few niggles:- The square ring (I know that sounds odd) that keeps the torch from rolling off of surfaces is a bit too large for the carry pouch provided (or is the pouch too small?), and you really have to wedge it in there if you want to be able to close the over and have the velcro engage.- You can remove the square ring, but the end cap doesn't want to screw on far enough to cover the threads for for the ring, so they're exposed to picking up dirt and grit, which would make putting the ring back on a nuisance. Your application may not cause such a problem, but I personally don't really want to think too hard about if my torch is stored in a dirt free environment.- I think the batteries that achieve this level of brightness aren't all that easy to identify-- if the battery doesn't output at steady 8A, then the uber-brightness setting isn't available. You can get these from Nitecore, but at around £22 a pop they ain't exactly cheap. I've seen other bright torches that can trip battery protection circuitry, so you apparently have to be careful and do you homework if you want to get some less expensive spares.But at this point, that's the end of the niggles. Otherwise, it's a great torch, and for some folks the above points may not be enough to turn five stars into four. The throw is very nice, and it almost makes it across the neighboring field to the trees on the other side (only my MH27 throws further). Given that we live in the country and have foxes lurking in the brush, it's nice to be able to check the property margins easily and see any glowing eyes waiting for a go at the chickens. I haven't tried running it for an extensive time yet and will update if anything is worth reporting, but at this point I don't think you'll be unhappy with this torch from a size/performance perspective.

Nachdem es sehr schnell geliefert wurde waren die Erwartungen noch höher. Es ist meine zweite Nitecore und die war schon top obwohl sie 2 Klassen tiefer war. Aber die übertrifft alle Erwartungen, lichtstark und mit den wichtigsten Funktionen ausgestattet. Würde ich wieder kaufen..... wenn

Excelente linterna, llevo usándola casi un mes y la única pega es la funda que trae; le queda estrecha y no sirve para sistemas molle.

Schade das man das Licht nicht fokussieren kann, aber bei der Helligkeit nicht zwingend notwendig, robust ist die Lampe da gibts nichts zu beschweren, zum Thema wasserdicht kann ich nicht viel sagen hat bis jetzt nur Nieselregen abbekommen. Würde die Lampe jederzeit wieder kaufen
