Q: Hello, can anyone tell me if this would be a significant upgrade to the rme fireface ufx preamps?

I bought my RNP (really nice preamp) on a recommendation from a friend who is a music producer in the LA music scene. He ~loves~ this brand. The one I bought had only one channel working. My return window with Amazon had expired, and I never contacted RNP to see if they would replace it (my fault - they might have). Short answer: a prominent LA music producer loves them.
