Quite a read for those of us without a life sciences background, but doesn't go too deep into the weeds to turn you off. It's a summary of the applications of molecular biotechnology in industry. Yes, you get the biology aspect of it but also the practical industrial side of it as well, such as how governmental bodies (e.g FDA) play role crucial roles in this industry and in its success.
