Q: What amp fuse should i use between the 3000w inverter and the battery bank ?

I own several inverters and they all convert 12VDC to 115VAC at about a 10-to-1 ratio. 3000W AC output will need about 300 amps DC input. A 150 amp fuse on the DC input will only produce about 1500W (about 13-14 amps) AC, maximum output, and that may not start induction motors or operate energy intensive kitchen appliances. Ed B.
