My daughter loves her new Journal. She opened the box it arrived in and began writing in it immediately. It has a girly design throughout the book, it has strong quality paper and front and back covers, its like a spiral notebook but with direction (i.e; date?, time?, what did you do today?, where did you go?, whom did you meet?, etc,etc....).Which is good for my girl because she loves to twist books around while writing so spiral works for her best. But we both agreed that there should be more pages added for the kids to freelance their writing and not have to follow the directions the book comes with each day, which was why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. However it wasn't enough to deter her and have her wanting to return it. She's happy therefore I'm happy.

I bought this for my daughter. She's 12 yrs old, and loves it. They have questions for them to answer about their days. So makes it easier to write, then gives a blank section for them to write about whatever they want.. What a great idea. I bought one for me and I also bought the camping one. Love the camping one. We write every place we go in it so we don't forget places we went camping each year. Always looking back in it for Ideas to go camping the next year..

Great gift for tween. Daughter liked that questions were asked...but would have like if more questions were a little more thought provoking so as to write more essay...not just answering questions like on a test. But girls can use it as they want. Added a set of multi-color pens to give as gift for Christmas. Would recommend.

My little sister loves her journal and it gives her the opportunity to write and get ideas about what she wants to discuss with the family. She is becoming a better writer each day and we are thankful for this journal.

I bought this as a gift for a pre-teen girl. I'm sure she will love it! Seems to be sturdy and well made.

Book was way oversized and all of the writing prompts were exactly the same for every day which seemed boring. Brown paperbag-like cover was unappealing.

I chose this journal for my twelve year old niece for Christmas. She enjoys writing about her day. It provides prompts and questions which are age appropriate.
