Q: Will this fit someone with a big head? Women’s hats usually don’t fit me because I have a huge head.

It’s quite stretchy, so it should fit. But it will be distorted. I have a large head and long curly hair. This hate makes me look like a munchkin or a gnome. Looks great on my bf though.

Q: Is this just a coatume piece or would it be warm enough for winter?

I humbly disagree; as this hat ABSOLUTELY covers MY ears. I wear this hat during: the fall, winter, spring, AND summertime (as a "sun hat")... This hat is VERY warm, so sometimes I need to take it off when it's very hot outside. I hope this helps. If I had a "big head" MAYBE it wouldn't cover my ears, but it does! Hahaa... Q: Is the light gray easily dyeable?

I would recommend looking at the hats description to see what material it is made out of. From there use or purchase a dye that is made for dying that specific material.

Q: Has anyone tried washing and drying this hat to shrink it? It’s too big for my head and I’m wondering what would happen if I put it into the machine.

I just bought it for Halloween and haven’t had to wash it. Most hats are too small for me so if you are still in the return window it might be best to return it and try another brand. There seemed to be a lot when I searched for one large enough. Good Luck
