Great mathematics, easy to understand.
I used this to review myself before taking a college-level math course at my university. If you're trying to learn everything, on your own, without an instructor, you're better off going to Kahn's Academy and using the free lessons there. But if you are good at self-review and already have this stuff wired in your brain from a long time ago, then this is an excellent resource. The price is good, too.

Was able to pass the CLEP after reviewing my algebra with this book
I bought this book to review my Algebra so I can pass my CLEP exam and get straight into Calculus. This book did more than enough!

The book is also online, but if your like me, I make so many notes that I need a physical copy for my learning style.

It appears to be a good text. I’m coming back to review algebra to tutor so the instruction is good. I’m not coming from zero knowledge though.

Some typos make it difficult to tell if you're getting it correct
Book is okay. It explains some concepts well enough, but there are typos and messed up answers which throws me off.
