Quality Heads that Last Forever!
I used to be a devout and exclusively Remo drum heads player, but one day I sent the guitar player out to get me a replacement head and he came back with one of these Aquarian Heads and I was o course very skeptical. But once i put the Aquarian head on and tuned it up I was very pleasantly surprised at the tone quality, and the pitch and sustain that the heads produced. So every since then I will still use Remo heads on all my snares, but when it comes to playing power metal or classic rock or anything in between on any of my tom toms I am a dedicated Aquarian head man from hear on out! Now I know as a drummer of 25+ years that you should change your drum heads out on a regular basis, but as a working drummer playing a 10 piece kit for many many years I also know that that can get very very costly very quickly to change that many heads out in one sitting. The reason I brought that up is to tell you that for the money that I have spent over the years on drum heads I am hear to tell you that Aquarian heads will last a long long time and are very cost effective for any working drummer! Keep it Metal People \m/\m/

ALL THESE HEADS SOUND GREAT!
I've been playing drums off and on now for 10-12 years now. I currently own a mapex pro m series with maple shells. I've always been switching around from Evans clear 2ply heads, remo clear pinstripe 2plys, and Evans coated (white) 2ply heads.whenever I'd be at a music store playing a dw or pacific kit I'd fall in love with the heads that had the dampening ring built into them. And I could never get the right tone with all my other heads, I consider myself rather good at tuning kits.So I found these aquarian heads, sure you could just buy the dw heads but they're overpriced because it says dw on the package. Got a 10,12, and 14" head for my toms, tuned them up and they sounded perfect! Now I play in a band and I play percussion and I let the drummer use my kit because its much nicer than his. The gigs sound great, just need to keep up on tuning.

Deep, controlled tones, for low volume, yet full sounding playing, without need for add-on damping.
I went from Remo Pinstripe (for the dampening ring), to Evans 360 (for attack), to Aquarian PF series for deep tone/damped sound. The Aquarian most suits my needs for playing classic country and old rock and roll.Deep warm tone without need for any gels or damping rings, that tend to get mashed or fall off in transit(as I have quit using gig bags).I was seeking to keep my volume down, hitting softly and still getting deep drum tones...they deliver in spades.Great heads, and a good match for the Aquarian Focus X on my snare drum.

Deep controlled tones without need for add-on damping, even with smaller size toms (10/12/14")

Boom Boom Boom
Does what its made to do. I hit it with a stick and it goes boom boom boom. I did buy these as well because it still had that "ringing sound". I don't have a bottom head though, just so you know. Aquarian Drumheads SR SET#2 Studio Rings 10, 12, 14, 16-inchby Aquarian Drumheads
