Smartplex Smart Wifi Light Switch - Modern Day Light Switch, 2 Gang LED Back-Lit - Easy In-Wall Installation - Includes App for iOS & Android Compatible with Alexa, Google Home, IFTTT

I just did a DIY on this 2 Gang Smart Switch that looks exactly as it appears in the pictures on Amzn. It was very easy to install and setup. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because its a bit bulky on the rear making it not a perfect fit for the Handy Box in the wall (see pictures.) WiFi was a charm to setup with the Smart Life App, not to mention linking to Alexa. Its easier than counting 1,2,3. Tomorrow I will figure out a way to get it into the Handy Box. I will also do a 3 months and a 6 months update .....as long as Alexa reminds meUPDATEAftet nipping a few wires to make them shorter I was able to get the switch fitted into the Handy box, (see my last picture) this was my only challenge and now that its all done I'll gladly upgrade my stars to 5. I'm also getting 3 x 2 gangs and 3 x 3 gang switches, yes they are that good, beautiful and that effective.

Instructions in package were not detailed enough to address installation questions. No live product assistance and Amazon rep could not reach product help as well. Was instructed to follow instructions in box even after I informed rep that I was very detailed in following process as instructed on product instructions. After numerous times, (about 13) I finally was able to pair switch and now working as designed. I was able to now find device in Alexia and completed the routine functionality to operate on a time schedule. I would suggest better details in box instructions and maybe a youtube video to show installation process. Smartplex switch did not have a video to follow. Other videos were found but not Smartplex 3 gang Switch which did not address specifics to this product. Also, ground wire was not addressed in instructions, only the neutral and hot wire plus the 3 leads going out. Instructions indicated to have switch close to router when pairing which is not possible since it is a switch installed in the wall. Product working fine with only issue of pairing process not being easy and help on product not available. Hope this will help someone to stay the course in the installation of a smartplex switch and continue to attempt to pair switch because it does finally pair and work as designed.

I've been looking for one of these for the longest time and came across this one. It has a really unique glass touch screen that gives my condo a really modern & contemporary feel. I love it!Instructions were very clear on how to install it and also it paired perfectly with my Amazon Echo (Alexa) with no hindrance. It's awesome how it can also integrate with ITFFF; so when I leave my house and forget to turn off the lights, it turns off automatically. Hoping to save money on my electricity bill this way, since I'm super forgetful!Anyways, I highly recommend this modern smart switch!

So good. I use it mostly with Google Home app. Very responsive. App seems to be very easy to use. I like that I can control my lights at the switch using 3 different methods: the device app, the Google Home app, or using the actual device. It's also cool to check and see if we left the lights on if we are away. At this point, the only thing that bugs me is the face plate. I had to remove it a couple times and it has to be pried off. I'm afraid that it will eventually break. Other than that, no issues to day. I've ordered four more units to install next weekend.

This sleek designed switch was tested from mobile phone, google home, IFTTT and of course, locally. All results were satisfactory. You could experience some issues if you have low quality AP. The only minor drawback is its sensitivity of the touch sensor. After researching, is seems to be two major types of these switches that probably are produced for similar/equal companies, so be careful with the overpriced units.

Um.... I need like 12 of these lbs. I want to control my house like the smart house from Disney channel. Down fall is that I’m not tech savvy in installing this so need someone educated in anything electric. But once we build our new home in Mexico I plan on getting it all completely done with it along with ours in the US.

This switch stopped working after 10 months. I tried to get another as promised by Warranty. It is very hard to figure out how to make a claim. They did not respond to my emails. If you decide to use this switch, buy 2 or 3 extra.

I like the sleek design of this, it looks great, too bad its not a dimmer, but that's ok. Biggest complaint are the poor installation instructions....I bought the 3 gang switch, fan, outside flood lights and porch light - there is no ground terminal on the switch it self...instructions don't say if it is self grounding or not, I didn't want to take any risks and just grounded it to the box, but...WHERE IS THE GROUND TERMINAL ON THIS?
