You have to seal it
It is like my mother in law one. But this you have to seal it before use it. Use some oil like is harmless from health, like olive oil or coconut oil.After it you will have a very good table.

Heavy and large good quality board
Bought this as a pasta/gnocchi board. It has arrived very quickly and the quality seems very good and it is really big but fits perfectly on a standard kitchen work top. I have not tried it yet but I am pleased so far
