Saved me so much money!
My DSLR camera has two memory card slots - one for an SD card, one for a CF card. I was looking into buying a new CF card, but they are so expensive. My friend recommended using an CF card adapter with an SD card inside. I was hesitant, as I thought it might speed things down, but this works amazingly well. I can now use the same SD cards I use for the other slot. I use a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV in case someone with that camera is considering the same.

Bought to usr in an EOS 5D Mk 3
It works the same as an 1GB CF card I had lying around....Takes its time writing from the Camera. But connected to a card reader on a USB 3 hub it transfers files at the usual rate for a fast SD card..

works but poor performance
this works but slows down the sd card. i got this so that i could use my fast sd cards in my cf card slots. i tested it using my 25mbps cf and a 120mbps sd. they roughly had the same write speed when the sd was in this adaptor but the sd was much faster when used alone (refer to the video.) i tried other sd cards faster than my 25mpbs cf but the performance was the same, the adaptor slowed down the write speed. formatting the sd in the adaptor was not able to speed up its performance in the adaptor either. i filed for a return as i am unhappy with the performance of this item.

Easy solution
Got a canon 5d mark ii and needed an easy way to convert images. This is cheap and easy and works perfectly, sometimes some connection issues but very rare.

Good if you like to take photos every 5 minutes!
This adapter may seem like a great idea, but really it isn't, it hardly fit in the cf slot on my Sony a200. Alongside taking 5 minutes to write the photo on the sd card, making every shot having a 5 minute gap. It hardly functions, but it does work. For a product like this, with this bad quality it shouldn't be this much, I'd expect this much from a £2 adapter. Not a good value for money.

SD card adapter
Converting CF cards to SD is very simple this way

Works but slow transfer speeds
I bought it to mod an iPod mini and it worked with some tinkering but the transfer speeds are very slow. I can imagine being in a camera this would be an issue.
