My toddler decided the toilet was the most interesting thing in our house, despite his hundreds of toys.This was quick and easy to install with no tools required, I didn’t even need my husbands help to attach it the toilet! That’s a win. I love that it comes in a two pack and now I have a little more peace of mind knowing that my little man isn’t going to be able to make a water table out of our toilet bowls 😂

I ordered these exactly a year ago today. Factor in shipping time and a few days before I got around to installing them. They lasted just shy of a year, which is pretty great considering how frequently they get used every day in a 6 member household.But I’m still disappointed that they gave out. They will no longer “lock” in the open position so you have to press the button, swing it open, then hold it to the side while you open the lid. It even hesitates to lock correctly because it’s trying to close the entire time instead of waiting until you are in the right spot for it to lock.But when it worked, it did exactly as advertised. Kept my dumb dog from drinking out of the toilets which was my purpose. So in that respect, no complaints!If you are getting these for a young child, they are perfect! Your child should hopefully outgrow the idea that toilets are for playing by the time these devices give out. I’m not sure the same can be said about my stubborn dog… But it’s worth another purchase since they do the trick for a while.

Highly recommend this if you have a toddler.

My 3 year old figured out how to unlock these in less than a week, I’d say 3 days maybe. I think this would be good for a baby that’s not coordinated and still not skilled with the sticky fingers or for someone who’s possibly developmentally delayed, or someone who doesn’t have advanced motor skills, possibly an elderly person, but lets face it guys…how often are you able to he in the bathroom alone …versus having one of your kids tailing behind you 😂😂 I can tell you that, as a mom….theres no way they won’t see you opening it for yourself or for them and be able to figure it out. If you goal is safety and avoiding possible injury or drowning and your kids or people have critical thinking skills this is not the lock you want. I wouldn’t recommend

Whoever came up with this design is a genius. This is way better than the strap things. The stickiness is better than expected. Like, whatever their adhesive is, I could use some of it for projects around the house! As far as ease of opening…couldn’t be easier. Push the button and twist the latch. As far as ease of removal, not sure how easy they will be to remove but we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it. These are worth every penny!
