Works on my autistic nephew too!
First off, I plan on having kids one day and I thought this book was a must have because I eat up anything with NLP in the title. I tried it and WOW!I tried these techniques on my autistic nephew and it works like gangbusters. A lot of his family leaves him with me all the time because I get the best behavior out of him. How do I do it? Uh... this book! The techniques are super simple and easy to learn. The rest of his family, my cousins, aunt, and uncle yell at him all day! That's not the way to go people. And it just occurred to me I should send them a copy of this book.If you're sick and tired of yelling and threatening your kids with no results and can appreciate the gentler approach, this is the book for you. I'd give it ten stars if I could.

Excellent book! Recommendations for immediate use!
The book has great insights and parallels of how to apply basic NLP principles into bringing up our own children... and nieces and nephews, too. Relatives have started noticing that children around my wife and I "behave differently"... That's all because we use the methods taught in this book as much as we can. Childen DO RESPOND effectively! It's amazing. I have a 1-year-old daughter and we're already benefiting from the methods taught in this book.

Another happy kids book
Pros r it has lots of example and situation in the book. It is easy to understand. I prefer The Happiest Toddler on the block which is written by M.D. Harvey Karp. May be that is more related to my 2 years old son.
